As I have been saying again and again and again to HTC bashers, this is a free world, if you don't have the money to buy HTC high-end mobile phone just keep quiet. Quality equate high price
this is failed product, with it spec, and the screen size, and the resolution, and 3000mah? really?, this will be the most failed product in 2017 lol
I have had HTC for a while using the HTC a9 and never had any problems with them .all there phones runs smoother than most mobile phone makers can't wait to see the HTC ultra up close and personal.
I am in love with this smartphone, waiting for availability of HTC U Ultra.
I have to agree with ray4hall's comment. I've had almost every phone except the iPhone. As a service-oriented user, I have to say HTC has set high total quality management standards in their devices. Whereas, the others manufacturers have produced overpriced defective products that didn't last for the first year after purchase, not even to mention the first 45-days of purchase. HTC has set themselves apart from their competition and are deserving of loyalty as a devoted user of HTC products. Stay true to U HTC...

3000 MAh? Even fools will not buy this.... What a shame HTC. Eeeeeeeeeeecreeeeeeepy
Cruzito, 12 Jan 2017HTC staying loyal to huge bezels and screen to body ratio Yes, this totally beats me why they stick to poor screen to body ratio (same as Apple) when Samsung and pretty much all Chinese brands kill it with amazing bezels. And 3000mAh when Huawei puts 4000mAh in a smaller frame. Even ZTE get 3300mAh despite front facing speakers.
Either their product developer is blind or they want to tank the company.

I use blinkfeed launcher on my axon 7 because it is amazing but I can't buy HTC if they don't produce 0hiejs they the market wants. Nowadays battery needs to be above 3300 and most Chinese brands now offer more than that. 3000 mAh doesn't cut it. And what about the poor screen to body ratio?
HTC why can't you get it already? The issue wasn't the metal frame or dual front facing speakers (look at how successful the Axon 7 is with that concept), it was
a. Lack of 5.5+ size (you remedied this)
b. Small battery size (you keep to small battery sizes...)
c. Large bezels / poor screen to body ratio (you didn't improve on this with the U series)
Sorry to say but I would buy your phones if there were at the level of the Axon 7 on 2 and 3 even if they are ore expensive because I feel bad leeching blinkfeed launcher on all my phones. But come on, you got to do products that the market wants!!!
All this talking about battery size, and processor, HTC can make a snapdragon 400 runs like the upcoming 835, HtC Phones are optimized to run smooth with any processor, how many of you that is talking about HTC Phone has actually own or even use one for more than a day. When Samsung remove their headphone jack you all going to sit quiet and just say nothing. I use all phone and when it comes to quality HTC stands out, (Fast, Smooth & efficient). Some of you should use a HTC before talking it down. Any Premium smartphone you buy in today's market will have to get charged before the end of the day if you are a heavy phone user. I too would like to see wireless charging and bigger battery, then we all going to complain that the phone is bulky, 3.5 MM jack. I cant tell the last time I use a wired headphone. so some of you need to stop making bad comments, there is no perfect phone out here, Samsung note caught fire, Apple been making the same phone since day one 2012 spec on the Iphone 7, LG just remake the V10 and just change the name. see. just love it or leave it if it is not for you.
The battery is not enough for a 5.7" display. Also a f/2.0 sensor consumes more power while photo shooting. That means it will bring a 24x7 powerbank holding opportunity for the users. Other than battery, I really want to mention about the camera. I've no idea why HTC phones lose camera quality according to its age!! I've used 3 since 2014 and every time I found my camera getting blurred and noisy after 4-5 months without any physical issue. Right now I'm a little bit fed up.
Really digging the design and software, but a QHD display with only 3,000 mAh battery, SD821 and those ugly front capacitive buttons? I was kind of excited, HTC. I was. Not anymore.
I'm a HTC ONE MAX user and i hardly every use head phones (always damaging the cable) so, I'm not going to miss the "Jack" what i need to know is how good is the External speaker/s for hands free calls and watching videos on this baby. if i need headphones not to disturb others, i'll use bluetooth.
