MO, 06 Nov 2011HTC is much much better comparing to Samsung I think both are fantastic!! I am a Samsung and HTC fan. Now I use a Samsung smart phone. Samsung can take fantastic pictures. I think that Samsung is better than HTC, but HTC is a very good company too! Between these 2 companies is the real competition.
60 fps + 1080p + 8mp + 1.2 ghz + 4.5'' + htc sense + gingerbread = futureproof. What more do u need. I own this gr8 monster!
AnonD-29577, 08 Nov 2011only 256k colorsi think the information about this on this site is incorrect, vivid has 16 million colors.
Bought this phone 11/7. I'm coming off an iPhone and think this phone is AWESOME. Best feature is that it's fast in every way. I've hit as high as 44mb/s download and 13mb/s upload speeds on the LTE network. With speeds that fast, I no longer have a need for WiFi, which is a boon for those of us grandfathered in on unlimited data (although that comes with inability to use tethering or mobile hotspot). Markets supporting LTE are growing quickly on the AT&T network. CPU is fast. Camera is fast. ICS support coming 1Q12. Was $199 for me, but selling for $99 in areas that don't yet have LTE. You do NOT have to pay a premium to use LTE also. Although a tad large, I would say it is still easily within easy handheld and pocket storage comfort. For anyone looking to buy from this point forward, why buy a phone that does not support LTE with its 10x faster network speeds? With this phone, you'll fly past any iPhone user until Apple adds LTE support, which is 9 months out at best...if they do it in their next phone at all.
I played with it at the ATT store, and found that Vivid it the ONLY android phone that has smooth scrolling in web browsing.
Yes, it feels much faster than Galaxy II, and the screen is as bright.
