Ans: I mean to say, that's not the USP of wave 2. That's Android's playground.

            Answer:
Depends on your purpose and liking.
simply put, if you want a multimedia phone, to watch videos, listen to music, play games, and record hd video you should go for samsung wave2 without a second thought.

If you want android, the advantage of apps, you want t o stay connected, all your accounts to sync to your phone, and browse a lot, then it's the Wildfire..

None of them give you both, so you have to make a choice..
            hope this helps..

nd is it possible to keep ring tones other than the ones provided as default?

              1. You can download a software called Connectify on your laptop, that makes your laptop a wifi hotspot. You can connect using that, in case u are using a laptop.

              2. Yes you can set any mp3 as your ringtone,
              steps:-
              1) go to music player, and go to the mp3 you want to set as ringtone
              2) press "menu" key
              3) press "set as ringtone"
              4) choose to set it as "contact ringtone", "phone ringtone" or "trim the ringtone" and then set it.

Answer: You've been unlucky in the piece you bought.. Otherwise the phone does not have any such problems.. I've been using it since about 3 months now.. Not a single freeze..
I would advise you to visit the HTC service center..

The only thing possible is if you buy a separate subscription for navigation, or you go for motorola, which comes with mapmyindia lifetime subscription in some of the models. That is if you are in India. I'm assuming they would have similar subscriptions in other countries if they've implemented it in india..

                                      Answer:
                                      1. battery life - generally if you are a heavy user, you have to charge it everyday.
                                      2. photos - camera is ok. Not great.. I would say that for almost all androids - except the real expensive ones. . maybe
                                      3. music - again , not a very strong point in androids, if you want music, you are safer in Sony's hands than htc.
                                      4. games - it's a big NO.

This phone's USP is it's value for money features.. Everything is present. Browsing is great. It syncs up well with things and has a lot of customisation possible.. Great design.. It's definitely not a multimedia phone..!
Camera is ok, the problem is it lacks image stabiliser, so a lot of times, the photos come out hazy.. otherwise camera quality is good..
Music, the first thing you need is a good pair of headphones atleast, the bundles ones are just not upto the mark..
There is no solution to the problem with gaming.. HTC has not worked hard enough on this aspect, compared to other brands/products in the same price range..
