I gone through reviews of yours & felt that no one is giving correct review.
I got my wildfire a month back, and didn't find anything great about this set.
To brief out I will give my cons n pros.
cons: good multi touch capacitive touch screen.
speed of response is ok, even in 500 Mhz processor. pinch to zoom is great. contact n account synchronization is helpful.
Now the long story of worries...
pros: battery is amazingly terrible if connected with mobile network n tends to heat up enough for burning ur hands. Thus lasts hardly 3 hours if used continuously :(
Resolution is even cheaper than a 5k range mobile, though 16M color surprass things to a great.
But frankly speaking with this resolution it is very difficult to type things n maintain to view past chat history and is most annoying.
It hardly plays flash player contents, don't know what for HTC built in flash is there.
camera performs pretty bad in most of the time when shaked for a mm. 15 fps video shooting is also seems very pesky.
Also it doesn't support live wallpaper apps:(
Any way I have no complain on it's powerful 2.2 frayo upgrade, which works fine. Thus some of its apps makes it distinct in this price range.
HTC are always great than any other model but then add another 10k minimum to get desire HD or something. Nothing can beat those.
