Hi, bot my Wildfire yesterday. i got a notification abt 2.2 upgrade. Initially i started off and since i didnt explore the phone much, i cancelled the download. Now i am trying to update the software, but the update checker says no updates available. How will i get 2.2 on my phone now. Can someone help pl?

Angry bird is playable on wildfire although the quality is not the same as in ipone. Thinking of buying optimus 1 but decided with wildfire. 528 or 600 mhz doent matter at all bcoz wildfire performs better. No regrets about it. Its not hd, its not 1ghz, its not amoled. So do not expect more than what the specs could give. Want more high end phone? wait for thunderbolt and optimus black.

Has anyone installed NFS Shift on wildfire?
does it have any problem? did it work smoothly? isn't it slow? and what about angry birds? have you installed and played it? was it ok? wasn't it slow?
I'm about buying this phone , my current phone is Sony Ericsson X8 and it's completely disappointing ! because of the lack of multi-touch ( I can't use some apps and games because they need multi-touch , and I can use google maps but without multi-touch it is really annoying)
my concern is about CPU
because x8 has 600MHz cpu but wildfire has 528MHz cpu
as you see , X8 has a little faster CPU than Wildfire
how is the speed of Wildfire? does it annoy you in some cases ?

2.2 upgrade is superb. At first it was laggy. Maybe the system was still calibrating. Aftr few days, its already perfect. Faster UI compared to 2.1. Some games that was lagging turned out better as well.

I was advise to upgrade to 2.2. in order for live wallpaper to work. My wildfire is already upgraded but still, its not working. Any thoughts about this pls?

i play my fren's wildfire for a while...all things bout tis phone is great,except for 1 thing...the screen colour n graphic SUCKSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

i just got mine today. its great smartphone. smart guy buys it. :) the main thing about this phone is that it can be use as a wifi hotspot/tethering.the speed is superb when i browse the internet using the wifi. the signal is strong.

the phone starts very very slow. some app cannot run and have to force stop. i experience a 'white noise' screen after unlock the phone.battery :(
overall, its a great phone. and i hate symbian already!

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2011i have enough cash to buy i phone. then i was suggested by my fren to go for htc. i read the r... moreIve got mine for about 2 weeks now and its an amazing little phone, and the adroid operating system is superb, very user friendly and because its a capacative touch screen it doesnt respond as poorly as those first touch screen. its my first touch screen and it works great... biq enough icons ect. i work in a cellphone franchise and most in the know will tell you the iphone is over rated. the iphone 4 does have an amazing screen, but cant do file transfers via bluetooth and if your not in the usa half the apps dont work, and you need an itunes account. but as with their ipods its probably very user friendly aswell...

I bought the phone a month back...its a good phone and the resolution and processor speed doesnt affect me till now. some games dont work but overall its more than value for money.
