Hi HTC users, I decided to buy wildfire, can anyone tell abt its music quality and camera? bcoz a friend of mine told that wildfire lacking in both music and camera.
I will buy this mobile in German language. I want to ask if it's possible to change the system language to English like in symbian phones? or it's not possible like in window phones? please it's urgent
[deleted post]Hi Vijay even though you are using the phone only for talking dont forget that this phone runs applications in the background. So install A-One task killer it is a very useful application to stop those progs to work in the background. Go to market icon & click on it, in search bar type A-One & u'll c the s/w. Download it & install it. U'l find many useful apps in this Market. As far as i know upgarding the phone to 2.2 doesnt ruin ur battery life further U'll have 2-3 new gadgets & nice graphic support. But b cautious while upgrading. Best of Luck.. Bye.

Bought Wildfire 1 month ago & had a very gud xperience. Nice design & good looking. Had updated to Android 2.2 & had no issues & battery life is also normal. No changes what so ever. Touch screen response is superb, Cam is OK, Browsing is a breeze, Applications were as usual uber cool. Only thing I miss is Secondary camera which would have been an added advantage. Over all superb phone for the price. I bought it for 14K in Hyderbad.
Can anyone compare this phone with Nokia E5 and Samsung Galaxy 3?
-> Screen Resolution
-> Camera Quality

Had this phone for almost a week now. However, the weather widget somehow stopped working. It would not update unless I connect it via WiFi of Gprs. It should still update as the handset uses Geolocation to gather info about my current location. Auto Sync is also enabled.
Tips or suggestions anyone??? Or, any other widget that works better than accuweather that the phone uses?
Why HTC wildfire 3G upload speed limit at 3xx Kbps while the other at 2 Mbps.
Is it hardware limitation?
Can anyone help to answer, I plan to buy this but still not sure on this specification.

I'm testing the HTC Wildfire for a professional usage for now 2 weeks. I am very disappointed. The hardware is brilliant. I'm very impressed. But the software looks to me like stone age compared to a simple Nokia mobile phone I'm making a full use of. Few examples:
- you cannot view your agenda while speaking on the phone (what if your client asks you over the phone for an appointment?)
- the agenda recall system (when you have an appointment) is useless (sounds are too short and too low AND IT CAN'T KEEP ON RINGING UNTIL YOU PRESS A KEY)... and makes you miss your appointments often.
- the galery doesn't allow you to move files, messages and pictures to other folders.
- the folder management of texto's and e-mails is horrible... too many keys to press before you get what you want.
A nice machine for a private and not 'too heavy' usage... definitely not for professional usage!
Been using it for 3 months now and im very satisfied with its functionality. Cool design and elegant looking. I just wish that the unit supports live wallpaper. The cherry mobile nova android 2.1 which is a low end phone that many are saying that originated from china comes with live wallpaper support. since htc is much better unit, particularly the wildfire, it should have been supported as well.
