Got my phone two weeks ago, and updated to Froyo yesterday which has been a great improvement. Applications run faster too, and has more functionalists and battery life lasted much longer this time :)

My Wildfire is factory unlocked, and still got no Froyo update. Still saying "your software is up-to-date". Is there anyone here who got this update? How is the performance?

worst phone of 2010. The winner is definately lg optimus one p500 under 10-15k bracket. Beats wildfire and galaxy 3,5 by big margin. Best mid-range android device. Best value and best buy as of now.

Ok people.........
Let me clarify this phone for you.
If you like gaming then this phone is not for you. It does not support most of the better games because of its lower resolution. If you just play to pass the time then there are less graphic games which are still pretty good....
This phones was meant more for internet and social networking use which is very good. The display is not bad which many seem to say it is because they are used to the iphone and high resolution devices. The cost being factored in puts the screen at a very good position with all the Apps available and the soon to be released worldwide 2.2 Froyo update....(currently only available in the UK). The phone is very good and to be clear the phone is a good deal. It should not be compared with the desire since it is in a totally different price bracket. The desire and wildfire are the best available phones in their own price brackets...
