Froyo is out now.
Thinking of buying this handset, can someone please tell me if it can be updated to Android 2.2?
Cheers

its confirm froyo lag to run in htc wildfire. Too slow. Its in rumor eclair already wast slow in wilfire, froyo requirements are enough than what wilfire comes with.
I have a wildfire and its working perfectly. Comparing it with Desire it is a lil slow, but those who havnt used Desire wont feel any sluggishness while working. Its a very good set and highly recommended for its price.
HTC does have some quality issues for its sets. I have had a desire earlier which had hardware issues. Its in repair currently. Thats just luck if someone gets a badly manufactured piece from the stock.

Hey guyz i jst want to know...which phone is better for multimedia and appz...HTC wildfire or Sony Ericsson X8..plz Help me
Froyo update for wildfire in Europe is out ! update now !
Bought it few days ago, my previous phone was Nokia 5800, comparation is something like Airplane vs VW Golf 3....)))) ....in HTC favor. Very cool look and great software, i`m sorry to say but symbian can`t match any more these Android software, everything works, tones of apps, free, and all are working, something that you could only dream on 5800...and the price is ok, litle lower resolution, but NOTHING THAT BIG, as some reviews presume.....
What about the android 2.2 update for Wildfire??
Cheers!!
b, 19 Dec 2010i've had the wildfire for 3 months now. Dont buy.. its too slow. Buy the desire instead???mine is fast like a rocket

Subi, 18 Dec 2010Can anyone confirm that whether we can send multiple mp3 files via Blutooth in HTC Wildfire ?yes u can....but u have to download bluetooth file share app from the market....its simple as tht..:)
I got this phone for my wife while travelling, after a few days of use I do not want to give it to her anymore, it really feels good, the screen is great and the phone is very fast, I own a nokia n97 and this HTC has a better overall perfomance.
After using Nokia for the past 5 yrs, this is the first time I went for HTC. Over all perfornace is good except the resolution, which wil spoil the 5 MP camera and vedio. Music is average. If you are a music/photo/vedio lover then go for Sony..Other than these cons all other feature's are g8. Internet is excellent, feels much more like PC.
Rating 8/10
Thanks!
sameer, 18 Dec 2010lg optimus one p500 is way better than htc wildfire and samsung galaxy s. Just check spec urse... moreWhat abt Flash 10.1 ..???
Well...I don't mean to burst the critics' bubbles, but my wildfire performs like a miracle. I've had it for 3 months and I don't regret buying it...the capacitive touch responds immediately,it makes calls as soon as i dial a number, whether it be from my phonebook or a new number,it has never frozen on me...I'm really impressed...so please,STOP HATING ON THE WILDFIRE.
its very obvious that there is only one person behind all of this bad comments and he/she is changing only his/her name..hahaha..ur using the same words.. zzzzzzz..gotcha!
