HTC Wildfire - user opinions and reviews

Hi all, any help would be appreciated,
im about to sell my iphone 3gs, and buy the HTC Wildfire!
Looking at the specs they both look pretty similar. The main thing i use my phone for is watching videos and going on facebook! i am happy with the functions of my iphone, i am just getting bored and wanting to try android! i use the whatsapp app on my iphone, and would like to know if the app is available on the android market?
what would peoples reccomendations be?
i have about £230 to spend, and can get the wildfire for about £150! are there any other phones that anyone would reccomend? or am i batter sticking with my iphone? the speed at which videos and web pages load is important to me! also the user friendlyness of the facebook app!

hi all, just bought the set today. looks great, feeling nice in hand. getting used to android for first time . headache from symbian to android.
@vignesh can u give me list of basic free r cracked applications necessary to install , please badly needed
also how to close background applications.??

Read that Skype is now available for Android phones - especially HTC and Motorola. But there seems to be no way to make video calls in Wildfire. Can anyone please advise me which phone might support video calling? And whether any such phone will be within 15k? Need to buy a new phone urgently so please help!!

Okay so I dont like win OS, i need good mid range Touch screen phone... price should be around Wildfire range...
1) Is games/apps/messengers like MSN/Yahoo/Gtalk Available for this phone?
2) Is it work good with internet ?
3) Music is loud/clear enough like iphone ?
4) anything else is better then this phone ?

hey can anybody plz tell that if am sending a little longer text msg , the phone automatically converts the text msg in mms msg..this is quite annoying..how to send the msg in text form only.????.plz help.....

I happen to check LG GT540 which has android 1.6 version but can be upgraded to 2.1 version. I am bit confused between buying HTC Wildfire or LG GT540 as both has almost the same features... Please help...

Is it true that one can't store apps in SD card as there is some problem..??? Pls reply folks as this is the only feedback thats stopping me from buying this phone...:(:(

I got the wildfire on Saturday...
its very wonder full experience while using this phone...
battery backup is good...
Touch screen is very good...
Rocking sound in earphones...
but only drawback with this phone is low resolution...
other than this phone is very good and in budget...
