if u think about it , this should be as fast as the desire (maybe faster) because of the low resolution. The CPU has to do less calculations since there are less pixels on the screen. In fact there are 5 times the pixels on the desire's screen compared to the wildfire, but the CPU is only twice as fast. Now there's something to think about

Care is needed over choosing Apps because some do 'force close', so just dumped the rubbish which is simple. But I reckon the Wildfire will make a great backuo/kids phone. I will certainly get it as well !

will the htc wildfire surport the next flash upgrade
thats coming and with the lower screen res will it surport all android programs as the tattoo did not because of lower screen res

and the htc dessire has 576MB RAM and 1GHz processor speed...

Does anyone know if the applications in the Android Market that only support higher screen resolutions will work on the Wildfire?
I've read that in the Tattoo (which is also QVGA) that those apps simply don't appear when you search the Market... But I'm hoping that has been fixed?... It'd be great if the apps could be installed just the same, despite obviously looking worse...
