around 250 euro u get x10mini same features
hmmm so i will go for the x10mini
by looking at these photos provided by the poster below:
I really think that Google should have put MUST HAVE minimum resolution of HVGA for Android!
This pixelisation is awful and only damages to Android experience!
And in the same way that Tattoo had really bad sales, Wildfire will to!
Initially it might go well, but once marketing looses its steam, and users review about experience pours... sales will decline, most definitely!
And I hope that as a result, this will be the last QVGA Android device ever! Or at leas last from HTC
Lambo, 26 May 2010ermmmm.... x10 mini Android 1.6 Wildfire 2.1 Cannot replace batterty (built in) you can with... more128 MB is internal memory of X10 mini and X10 mini has been proved to be double faster than 1GHZ phones due to 3 times smaller resolution and screen and 600 MHZ which is nowhere to be found on other QVGA android phones
E52, 27 May 2010The screen is great. Find the phone on youtube and see for yourself. sorry.no offence but i dun agree with u bro.QVGA is QVGA.u just go to tried the Smart with the same screen resolution in 2.8" screen and it is really bad.but Wildfire is still a great phone for those ppl who wan a functional smart phone and dun care about the screen resolution.IT IS A GREAT DEAL!
jack, 27 May 2010can anyone pls tell me how the screen will look...is it really bad (resolution) or a deal brea... moreThe screen looks like this:
So yeah.. basically, the pixels are extremely visible and looks huge. Gradients will kinda look like they have lines. Based on experience, it looks really disturbing. If you can live with that then....
can anyone pls tell me how the screen will look...is it really bad (resolution) or a deal breaker??
i like this phone and it fits my pocket too and it has all the features i want but if any other phone which has all this feature and better than this with this much of amount then pls let me know..
i have no idea about this resolution thing so anyone who has knowlegde about this kindly reply.....thanks

Undecided, 26 May 2010Currently using an 8gb iPhone which the contract ends Sept this year. I am so torn on whether ... moreDude, Apple is the Alpha and Omega of touch screens. This phone is great, all HTC androids are great, but they aren't really an iphone.
i can guess how good can the screen display after i have tried the 2.8" HTC Smart with same resolution.
This phone its what im looking for.
Good smartphone, good design and it seems has a good batery life for being smartphone
I will buy it
Currently using an 8gb iPhone which the contract ends Sept this year. I am so torn on whether to go for a HTC like this or get the new iPhone when it comes out. I get very frustrated with Apple when it comes to releasing their products. Just seems that June is taking forever and even then its atleast another month............So undecided. Anyone want to help me decide with some plus or negative points on each manufacturer?
i know, 240 x 320 pixels for 3.2 is a bit low but HTC is always a better performance handset than any one ,,even HTC perform batter than iphone......also i have seen some preview, its good... so at this point i can hope for the best from......HTC.
Try viewing this photo in full size:
Uh.. the 240x320 resolution doesn't looks so good on a 3.2 inch screen. As a matter of fact it looks ugly. :/
I think this one is better than x10 mini. Why? because the screen is bigger (resolution stays the same but it's still okay)
and wildfire has 2.1 while x10 mini has 1.6 (and also notice that most of htc phones in 2010 will get 2.2 upgrade...)
In my opinion, Sense UI is better than SE UI(Timescape is also good ,but Sense UI is more colorful :)
Replacable batteries vs non-replaceable (although that the PRO version is replacable, but it's not to the comparison here)
TheMoja, 25 May 2010X10 mini is a better deal than this... Forgot to mention
2.55' screen vs 3.2'
TheMoja, 25 May 2010X10 mini is a better deal than this.ermmmm.... x10 mini
Android 1.6 Wildfire 2.1
Cannot replace batterty (built in) you can with WF
No Multi touch function
128 Ram vs HTC WF 384ram
With the power of the bigger brother x10 (1ghz cpu) it still lag. Caused by Timescape UI.. 600mhz for x10 mini... what do you think?
