whilst for i5700, not only it's void of m/touch, it also lack Sense UI which the best mark of all HTC phones.
I am currently in san jose ...basically from India ,I was in search of a good phone, can anyone suggest me where will i get the best buy,I will here only for short term..is it worth buying here in US compared to india.
y arent most of the htc phs not having secondary video call camera????
Htcs design is getting kinda boring and their sens ui is the same old thing. They shouldve added improvements. Other wise well... Its boring. *yawn*
at first glance seems an OK phone, though it could put a better processor ... But a phone is designed for the middle class, created for people who want a phone operating system but have not a lot of money .... and for secondary videocall camera would be useless in romania ... goodbye!
uday, 18 May 2010listen guys i have my b'day coming up and i have an option on buying this phone or i pod touch... moreMy friend, I personally would choose the phone. You have more option and you can download applications fron Android Market. Peace

@uday: i dunno about this phone man, but i have a 64gb ipod touch 3rd generation...and i simply love it. once you jail break an ipod...you can do anything wit it! playing games on it is just simply awesome. i would go for a mid ranged phone, like the nokia x3 and the ipod touch.
Tattoo is a low-end phone and this is not, so this wildfire makes a much better choice. Also, wildfire carries the newer os and since its a new phone, its highly likely to be upgraded to Froyo 2.2 in the future, which is actually a very big upgrade.
If battery is your main concern and you don't mind getting a lower-end phone, you can consider samsung I7500, its battery last for about 3 days w moderate usage and its screen is a lot nicer than tattoo's, processer is 800 mHz, which is jus 200 mHz short of that of HTC Desire. Only letdown is tt it doesn't support multi-touch.
uday, 18 May 2010listen guys i have my b'day coming up and i have an option on buying this phone or i pod touch... moreThis phone looks great, but just disappointed with 240x320 pixels. Should have been much better. Battery life seems to be very good
uday, 18 May 2010listen guys i have my b'day coming up and i have an option on buying this phone or i pod touch... morethe i- touch is not a phone having said that lets say for arguments sake we were to compare it to the iPhone (which is!) Firstly, the Apple O/S is easier to use than Android, the typing on the itouch is easier and that's where the buck stops, the HTC Desire or Wildfire would leave the itouch/iphone standing, the HTC has the SnapDragon 1GHz Processor, had better display better sound, more reliable protocol and messaging and is built much much better, the i-Touch has a disasterous build with a pro-scratch ultra sensitive rear surface panel. I'd opt for the HTC but would hope the GUI improves.

A little desperate to see HTC improve their specs..
Matter of fact Samsung does comes with good specs with secondary cam for cheap price.
But still i am looking for a good HTC device with some common sense..So i can buy one from HTC.
Prob u can suggest me one with what i am looking for.
It always amazes me people complain about specs.
Even enthusiasts should understand companies make devices to appeal to different price ranges, needs and demographics, but it seems many still don't understand this concept.
Nope, Its not mistake from HTC.
Guess what!!! HTC is itself a mistake...
3G again..No secondary cam for video call???!!! what the F??? HTC!!! I'm not impressed..
I don't know, how people fall for these...
I dont get why HTC is releasing one Android phone average once a month with all similar design and almost similar specs?
I have used the Hero earlier and really dont think its great leap forward compared to WINMO. well maybe you can even set your own home screen, but what else is new?
Has the Bluetooth problem been fixed?
Somebody tell me whats so special about Android.
