Best phone i have ever owned, used daily as an internet router through portable wifi hotspot to laptop, manange to stream youtube at 240p and sometimes 360p at 1 bar signal strength, extremley heavy battery usage with portable wifi hotspot on, low battery consumtion with it off aslong as you keep tabs on the number of background applications running which I think is probably standard with most smart phones. Exellent flash light/torch. I have dropped this phone numerous times face down and never damaged the screen. um..so yeah, theres just no way I can fault this phone it just does everything the specs say it will do and never has any reliability issues at all. Thanks for reading my rant! (12 months ownership and still love it!)

I have HTC Wildfire Original Version.
I have a problem with the handset.
Intermittently my HTC Wildfire when screen locked will not allow me to answer the call and I end up having to ring the caller back.
I have seen on other forums this is common.
Can all those who have this problem on GSM Arena please message me / Comment on this issue.
I feel that as HTC made the phones they should fix them (trouble is with the Wildfire S being on sale HTC will not want to offer Android 2.3) there are no updates to fix this software issue when I check my phone for updates.
                    Very Annoyed.

I've had this phone for a year and I love it. HTC has the best pre-loaded keyboard of any smartphone. The pre-loaded widgets are awesome and convenient, and this size is perfect for someone new to smartphones who thinks most are far too big! I drop it all the time because I'm clumsy and it hasn't broken or effected the performance at all until recently, it has begun to slow down and become a little unresponsive to touch, I think that might be because I've downloaded too many apps though :P

Does the wildfire has touch focus, cuz specs say no but i saw this sentence in the review
"It serves as the shutter key there but it’s far from essential, as the touch focus works well."

                                    Hi,
I am planning to buy this phone. The specifications got me into it.
So , I need some honest feedback from users regarding the following:

                                    1. Sound Quality- with and without speakers.
                                    2. Voice clarity
                                    3. Internet speed.
                                    4. Any serious glitches.
                                    5. Camera quality

AND Most importantly, the resolution. It is a low resolution phone.Heard that the pixels are visible if u look closely. Is it pretty BAD?

                                    Thanks in advance.

anonymous , 08 Sep 2011camera quality is excellent.. but the battery life isn't that good.. actually depends totally ... morecamera quality is barely decent my friend compared to what else is out there. Ofc if u compare it to a 2005 sony ericsson w550i it is excellent. Battery however is ok compared to the other ones on the market cause i can work for 2 days with about 3-4 hours music playback and 1 hour calling time and around 30 minutes of app usage
