Entry level phone, something like a Desire 12+, a phone you will not miss do much if its gone, learned that the hard way, when i lost my U11 on a constuction site. If the price will be under 150€, it will be an nice phone.

Some body like to pay entry level price and want grab meddiate phone!!!!! Who said this phone is awful or not a good choice for entry level ?????!!!!!!!!
Please compare this phone with moto e6s, than you findout the truth.....
Htc wildfire r70 is very better than motoe6s. htc wildfire r70 with better camera (16MP vs 13MP) and larger pixles that allows you to shot in low light. in selfie cam htc is better too. also wildfire r70 has bigger battery 4000 vs 3000 and 33% bigger battery makes htc wildfire r70 far bettet than moto E6s. Compare tham and then you would choice htc wildfire r70 with no doubt.
First search,study and inquire then write and post your comment,please.

THIS HTC PHONE IS SUITABLE AND GOOD ENOUGH FOR ENTRY LEVEL.

except for the 2 GB RAM part i think this is a pretty decent device by HTC ! P23 is also a pretty good processor !

Sadly most of users like you support awful brands and push away high quality brands and we know that mobile companies with high sale have gadgets with lower life(needs to changes every year but except apple).
Also those companies like htc/sony/motorola and .... are culpable with their mistakes(like phones with 2g of ram) and helps low quality wear the crown of sale(except apple).

This phone needs 3G of RAM and at least better soc than helio p22 that used in wildfire x and u19s. It has good camera, 16mpx with large and 1.4 micron pixel size that is very good and unique for entry level and 4000mA battery with fast charge is good too.but as i and all of you mentioned the soc is weak and could be better...!!!!!!
If the price would be cost effect then this phone could be good choice,just push low price on it,please.

What's going on with HTC?? Why are they selling weak phones. The HTC one m8 from 2014 is way better than these latest phones. Come on the specs have become 2x weaker!! The HTC one m8 has FHD display and high ppi and it supports PUBG with 40-60 FPS but the phone heats upto 48° which is surprisingly not good. I feel sorry for HTC's latest phones.
Change up man! You still have time for high end development!!

If HTC is wasting their time and money on this kind of new products/specs, they will never succeed. 2 GB RAM, 16nm processor, 2MP camera.... Well, I dont want this product.
Even my 3 year old Son's phone (where he watches videos) has better specs than this.
