After update system from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5 may you have some problems with Android Market. If you receive a "Download unsuccessful" message when attempting to download an app, try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
•For paid applications, confirm your credit card information is up to date by signing in to your Google Wallet account.
•Clear your Market cache (visit Settings > Applications > Clear cache).
•Restart your phone, then try downloading the app again.
•Wait 10 minutes, and try your download again.
•Confirm there is connectivity to either a wireless or cellular network on your device, and contact your mobile service provider if you aren't connected.
•Ensure there’s enough space on your phone or tablet for the app to install.
••• If none of the above steps work, try remounting your SD card.
••• Visit Menu > Settings > Storage > Unmount SD card; then remount the SD card from the same menu by selecting Remount SD card, or restart the device if the remount option isn’t available.

If you have a moving wallpaper, even when the phone is switched of the phon... moreI used moving wallpaper and it consumed about 7-8 MB RAM memory (I don’t know how much of processor usage? – maybe some presents).
Now I use a dark background static wallpaper and no big difference in battery live. When using moving wallpaper and when the phone is sleeping - idle (display off), the background is not active and don’t spend battery.
Re Battary LIfe
If you have a moving wallpaper, even when the phone is switched of the phone is processing the wall paper.
To save battary life change wall paper to a static picture.
I use the HTC Wildfire S now with a 16 GB micro sd card for about 3 months and i'm very happy with it. It's small enough to fit in my jeans pocket but large enough to be useful for reading e-mail or using Osmand for navigation.
The camera quality is only average - but good enough for snapshots and useful for barcode/qrcode scanners (and when you want to take high quality pictures then you should a real camera and not a smartphone anyway).
Recently the OS also got updated from Android 2.3.3 to Android 2.3.5 with a new lock screen (but Sense 2.1 remained the same).
The only disadvantages are the limited internal memory and the battery life time - with average use it only last 1-2 days before the indicator turns yellow... but i think this is quite normal for smart phones these days and the batterie life time can be extended by turning off the mobile internet connectivity and only using WLAN at home or in the office.
But overall - for the price a very good choice.
