eddman, 21 May 2011Wrong. Wildfire S' processor is the same as Galaxy Ace; an ARM11 MSM7227.I dont't know for sure but here says it's a Snapdragon: http://www.htcimeiunlock.com/htc-blog/specifications-for-htc-desire-2-htc-wildfire-2-htc-desire-hd2-2011-02-11/ But anyway Wildfire S is better on Quadrant benchmark, maybe because of superior RAM.
bani, 20 May 2011I want to ask is there document viewer in htc wildfire s, coz i read somewhere in a website th... moreyou can get a brilliant document viewer from android market.. Thats called quick office viewer i think... Everything you can think is available in android market..
Phoneboy, 20 May 2011Who needs iphone when the HTC's do everything that a iphone can do and more?! Love this model ... moreCan one change the battery?
the standby time is quity less
can it be replaced with other higher capacity battery like 1500mh?
I want to ask is there document viewer in htc wildfire s, coz i read somewhere in a website that there isn't any document viewer, is this true can someone confirm this, indeed, because i really need to have Doc viewer and editor for ( word, exel, etc, pdf) documents.
On htcsense.com website, Wildfire S is not listed in the "Supported devices" list.
Does that mean, we cannot make use of htcsense.com services directly from Wildfire S?
I just wan2 confirm one thing. if we compare the Wildfire S with the other "superior" models like the desire-HD/S incredible-S sensation etc....leaving aside the hardware like the processor and the front cam etc....can we compensate for kust about every other thing which is lacking by getting them from the ANDROID MARKET ? ofcourse again the processor and current hardware shud support thgose apps.
Like if the Wildfire S does not have a document editor, im sure there's an app for it, ryt?
so wats the real deal with the expensive phones apart from the speed?
guys help here coz im plannin on buying the Wildfire S, im goin to be a basic user just need the document editor thats it, so i think the phone is good ryt.
or am i missing somethin major here ?
Who needs iphone when the HTC's do everything that a iphone can do and more?! Love this model wish they could make the desire more like this size.
Love this phone, not going to need to upgrade now for years so easy to use.
wildfire s is much more refined and so much smoother to use than the original version, really happy with the purchase and the android market is improving constantly which is great:)
Pls tell us if does have an Equalizer preset on music player. Thank u

If you fe... moreohh yeah.. xperia mini.. i checked it out and its a fast phone.. nice phone.. too bad they put a 1200 battery. this is weak for a 1ghz processor. much worse than wildfire s battery life.. thats the reason why i like wildfire s. its within an acceptable specs in term of my needs.. just wished that they did increased battery capacity.

@CRIS, Does it have Equalizer preset? I think gsmarena forgot about it and also they said it doesnt support flash but they played a youtube video on the browser itself. Thats strange to understand. Pls Tell us how was ur experience about that on your phone. Thank you so much! :)
jason, 19 May 2011I bet a 100% sure that sounds and camera sucks on this phone. That's always where HTC fails... moreCamera is not so bad as they say...You can see for yourself even in this review.Compare with Galaxy Ace and see it's not worse.
Ace has a good 800mhz processor.. what good is a 800mhz processor if your ram is so little? It will just drain you battery fast and you wont able to multitask alot since ram is small and for sure it will be laggish. rom is so small as well same as for x10 mini small ram and rom, small screen and a qva resolution. most of android apps are made for hvga resolution.
I'll go for htc wildfire s. big rom/ram and a flash support.. fairly good processor and good looks..
I don't think wildfire s will support flash as it has the same processor as LG optimus one and it doesn't support flash.. flash is included with sense as far as i know that's why wildfire s has flash..
