the phones screen is very decent indeed , i have been looking at some of the comments on here about the screen , to be honest what i would say unless you have seen handset yourself dont make any silly comments.
right as for the camera , new software on the screen to take and edit pics , would also say that the camera seems alot clearer.
Not sure about video as of yet will let you know.
Nice phone. I had it for a couple of weeks and I love it so far.
Fast and responsive despite having a small processor.
The screen looks good
The only down points:
- It doesn’t sync properly with Windows hotmail accounts. But that is more of an android problem i guess.
- Moving the cursor when editing text is a bit tricky.
- Even though this a good looking phone and feels solid. If you get the black phone, there is a silver line around the screen. This makes the design of this phone to look a bit 1990s. HTC what were you thinking?
- With average use the battery lasts only one day.

and even my manager recently went for a desire hd , his comment was is much nicer i think personally , because he found the size of his desire to big.
if you go for this phone mate i dont think that you will regret it all .
what sort of cost is the handset going to be for you mate ?
and do you have a andriod device at the moment.

Can you please provide a brief note on the phone's audio quality?
What about the camera, both still and video recording, in low and medium light condition?
Thanks once again for replying.
Answers for these will help me zero in on the Wlidfire s.
Praveen, 13 May 2011What about the phone's Multitasking capability?
Thanks in advancehey mate , yeah a valid question , yes mate all seems to be fine and dandy ,i mean for instance i could be browsing and having a note pad open copying notes and listening to some music , and the wildfire s seems to cope with all that i throw at it , again its been a week now and the phone is performing well over my expectations.
there have been a few added welcomes to the software , finding the phone so much easier to use and the screen on the handset is much better than the wildfire before .
any other questions?
Specs give us that it has a: "Document Viewer"
Can a firmware upgrade or any other kind of upgrade help instal a "Document Editor".
How is the speaker phone on wildfire s compared to say the Nokia 6233 which has the best speakerphone sound?

Hi Guys & Girls, help please, have wrecked two phones in a weekend , so need a phone to put my sim in. Torn between h&c desire s or wildfire s, £5 a month difference in the tariff but seeing as i am still paying for the other two that is still alot. I am bait of a phone geek , had the first google nexus, iphone 2g etc, but torn between these please help. have ruled out the samsung ace after reading the reviews. Need the phone for constant email, posting artwork on twitter or Facebook twice a month so needs to take good pics. I use wifi in the house a lot . Got rid of my old iphone as did not like the tracker. Do like the thought of the wildfire S in white but does not have inbuilt memory and a slower processor, answers asap please as i need to order it . thanks all you give me their time
What about the phone's Multitasking capability?
Thanks in advance
AnonD-6672, 13 May 2011Does it have front cam?You can have a video chat on yahoo messenger using back camera.
Congratulations for guys who have got their Wildfire S.
Can someone make a quick review of the camera performance and the video recording, in medium and poor lighting conditions?
Thanks in advance!
AnonD-6672, 13 May 2011Does it have front cam?Hi mate no it does not , do you use the front cam very often then , i mean to be honest that i think is what they have left out to keep the size down ,
UPDATE , to be fair the phone battery is very good , now i am a moderate to heavy user e.g day to day use is Facebook , Opera , Web , Wrc 2011 app , Music to and form work , and some gps , get up at 6 and bed at 11 battery is lasting me all day and 10 percent left buy charge time.
would like to see the loudspeaker a tad louder though (hopefully that this can be sorted via a firmware update for the phone)
if anyone might know of a quick fix to this for the moment please let me know
