Had it in my hands today for a few minutes, so thin and fast....I want one!!! the best lookin htc so far :)
I read an article saying that this is not supposed to be the flagship WP8 by HTC. This is a mid-ranger. Too bad, Nokia Lumia 920 has taken all the spotlights.
I wish WP8 luck. I really want this platform to succeed.
Best WP8 phone out there! next month Windows will release approx. 100,000 applications for WP8 phones which in my opinion will make it the best OS out there! and HTC has great pixel density and very good camera. There are tons of radio apps out there so no worries about that, and about the card slot, it has 16 or 32gb internal so what's the use for card slot anyway?
I just wondering. Knowing how great the One X display is on that 4.7 inch size, and it'll be even smaller and higher ppi. With the same screen tech, no doubt this will be the best screen on WP8
HTC needs to put sd cards in all phones, high and low end. Beats audio is dope the colors are ok. I also believe HTC should flood all carriers with their phones.
No microSD slot and no radio are both deal breakers for me. Such a shame. It's such a nice phone otherwise. I don't understand why that so far all the top Windows 8 phones are being built without a microSD slot! The Lumia 820 has one, but the 920 doesn't. WTF! I want Windows 8 in a fully featured top-end phone with the lot, but there has not been one announced yet.
Only bluetooth 2.1 in end of 2012? This is no good. All modern good BT heasets have BT 3.0 or 4.0 and it really does make a big difference in sound quality. With this phone no use in that
this is best phone in the world and wp8 is best os but this os come to the market so late
its easily the best wp8 phone in the market.. dont get me wrong guys because lumia is very very heavy. and would make it difficult for us to use it... 8x all the way for me
Anonymous, 08 Oct 2012Smaller screen, inferior specs, so how come this phone will be selling for approx. the same pr... moreActually at least in Europe it seems the device will be selling for 100€ less than the 920.
Dru2690, 05 Oct 2012Actually it supports 4G and all Windows Phone supports Radio. Even the Lumia 610 does this. I ... moreThe official Nokia website specs do not list Radio for the Nokia WP8s either.
That said, the chip is both capable of FM Radio and FM transmitter, so I dont see why would they not use it?
Smaller screen, inferior specs, so how come this phone will be selling for approx. the same price as the Nokia Lumia 920?
Again you HTC looser, Samsung Ativ S got radio and card slot, unfortunately you don't like your customers - no radio, no card slot!
Anonymous, 05 Oct 2012No card slot? HTC is crazy!y did u want Card Slot?
