When Huawei introduced EMUI 10, it revealed current global smartphones will receive the user interface per its deal with Google. Today we received a press release, confirming the full list of devices selling on the global market that are eligible for the refreshed user interface, based on Android 10.
Beginning this month, the Mate 20 and P30 flagship lineup will start receiving the OTA update, with more devices to follow “in later months”. Here’s the full list:
This group of devices includes all phones, purchased on the non-Chinese market. Those bought in China or imported with Chinese software (that has no Google services) are getting a different schedule and will likely get the updates earlier.
EMUI 10 will bring a new interface, redesigned apps, and system-wide Dark Mode. There are also improved “more natural” animations, better performance and security and the latest version for the software booster GPU Turbo. There is also the multi-screen collaboration that allows Huawei phones to interact with PCs and with each other seamlessly.
