i got this phone more than 1 year and its working like a charm,and the funny thing is i buyed second hand from a friend,the only boring thing is that the phone has 4 themes...but with launchers its easy to ignore

This is great phone and one u get use to it its getting even greater.
Pros
Great battery backup
Nice IPS Displ with good res. (Not the cheap 480x854 but 540x960).
Fast UI and god ram managment, no lags
For those with app problems due low memmory-from the memmory seerings switxh to main storage>sd if u have sd memmory
And when u want to install apps download them as apk but them in the sd and intall them that way u can install everything with no low memmory message
Goigle play downloads first in the phone memmory and then move the app to the sd and when there is no internal memory you cant download from play not even update so just download the apks you want and inatall them manually from the file explorer app its that easy

You changed the default storage do external sd card, but that doesn't change the place where is installed the apps and your user settings ( msg, definitions, etc ). That goes to data partition, and what you change was storage partition.
That can be fixed, we can take "sapace" from internal storage and give to data. I use a 32GB external storage so internal storage is not useful...

This is a good phone, i have the L11, is a LTE model.
If you want to know how to update, increase space for apps and user data (Is not where pictures or musics is stored!!! Is a diferent partition!), etc, go to this group in Facebook:

i have Huawei G6 for like 6 months now. Its a good phone but the only problem is with notifications. It can't notify me when my phone is on mobile data with most of my applications. The only time it d
oes is when i am on WiFi. this is a huge problem Huawei please help. please..!!!!!

warrow, 23 Sep 2015I have exactly the same problem. The phone 'thinks' it has only 2GB, from which 1.7GB is in us... moreI have the same problem !! Except this, the phone is very good, fast and I love that is very thin. I have a card of 8G on it.. I was thinking to buy a bigger card, like 16G maybe it will resolve the problem.. What do you think ? :)

I have huawei G6 ,it is good mobile. with shortened in ROM and RAM. my problem is the screen is simply dry glass (not plastic glass ),so the glass is broken & i did not any accessory since march,2014 . so what i can do? please i need your help.

Has anybody here already tried emailing huawei to request for bootloader unlock code? Did they respond to your email and provided you the unlock code? Because its very complicated to root this phone and do some modifications in the rom. Because if it happens that you bricked your phone or it goes bootloop you wont be able to fix it or flash it without having the bootloader unlocked.
