Huawei Android

Huawei releases today the Ascend Mate7 Monarch edition, which is a slightly more premium version of the regular phone. The majority of specifications remain the same as the original with a few improvements. The 6" 1080p display is now protected with sapphire instead of Gorilla Glass, which should make it even harder to scratch or break.

Additionally, the Ascend Mate7 Monarch packs 64GB of internal storage (54GB is user available), which in addition to the microSD slot with 128GB card support can give you a total of 182GB of storage. The phone is finished in the gold color option, which is one of the three originally available for the phone.

Huawei is asking $710 (CNY 4399) for the Ascend Mate7 Monarch, which is $110 more than the original price of $600 (CNY 3699). The additional weight on the wallet is caused by the numerous perks Huawei is throwing to the owners of the phone. The company gives a special VIP card, which grants you 1 hour quick repair in case anything happens to the phone as well as a bottle of the fancy Mossel wine.

In our in-depth Huawei Ascend Mate7 review we noted it's one of the best phones the company has ever made and this new version of the phone takes things up a notch on what's already a very nice phone.
