is it possible to upgrade the OS to Android 4.0? Are accessories like jelly cases and screen protectors available for this unit? does the phone have issues like lagging etc.. thanks.. im in the philippines wanting to buy this unit.. please do tell me if the handset is okay.. thank you.

We have a new Huawei Ascend Y200... We have trouble in installing apps from market due to the size of internal memory so we bought 8GB external SD card to solve the problem but still apps that we downloaded in the market are not saving in the external SD... can somebody help us about this coz the phone still saying "Low on Space"? Tnx

I brought this phone yesterday and it's really good. But the battery life is poor. but nothing else I can see. it's great and affordable :)

This is a very good phone. Traded BB 9300 for this phone and have not regretted at all. For only 5,500 pesos, the phone is a major steal. Loaded with features to die for and a a solid built. What else could you ask for in a mobile phone. Don't hesitate to get one while it's still reasonably priced.

Bought this phone last Friday as a back-up phone and features wise, I would say, it's a good phone. The only problem is the battery life which lasts less than a day. It supports the standard SIM card as well.

if this phone has all this features at this price aahi... it would be great but
they should adjust on camera to 5pixel,internal memory 1gb,include radio very important and longer lasting battery could make it the boom for me

this unit is priced at Php 5490, estimatedly US$125. Very reasonable for its features. But haven't tried it first-hand so I can't assure of its durabilit.

This phone is so WÖW!
Here in Philippines,it's already announced and released.The only different from this spec list is that the battery is at 1,500mAh ratings.
It's so affordable at Php 5,499 or $130.I just can't imagine a phone at that price w/ 3.5 IPS screen and decent Qualcomm MSM7225A chipset.The RAM is quite downer @ 256 MB.
I'm willing to pay higher price to have at lease 512 MB RAM.
But I need to read a review to check the quality.
Another,It also features the 5 seconds to reboot from being off!just like the other Huawei phones.
