I have it, but dual sim, bought in officiall serbian operater, and it has camera setting, set up to 5 Mpix!
Pay attention to camera resolution, guys!!!
I saw on the internet that Huawei declared the g6609 has a 3.2 mpx camera. But in some foruns, some owners discovered in forums that it has 5 mpx.

I have a question about the trim around the phone: is it metal or plastic? Thanks
well compare to the previouse Huawei qwerty phones this is definitely the best. the keypad is really confortable in hand, not too soft not too hard, feel like a high tier though.
the camera is suprisinly 5M!! this is really a reward!
another thing i like is it has WIFI, the speed is acceptable, if you are not so picky, bear in mind that allow you to check facebook and twittering something without paying for the 3G data tarriff..
the i bought this phone for 59.9 Eur and it seems super worth for this price. Good Job Huawei!
whats there use of dual sim fone whereby you cant receive calls at there sametime and it doesnt notify your if your on call with one of the sim card and second sim revied another call
It is a pretty good phone, nothing too fancy. Dual SIM ok, they work both in the same time and you have the same choises like messages sim1 and messages sim2; when u make a call, it asks from what sim u would like to call, I don't know if u are notified that u have a call on the other sim when u are engaged in a conversation on one of the sims. Battery seems ok, don't have it long enough to tell; anyway after a day of playing with him, installing applications, discovering settings, bluetooth on all the time and wireless likewise, it drained one out of four lines from the battery. Has pretty cute widgets and shortcuts, the themes are cute, but u can't get rid of the freaking clock on the main screen. I don't like that u can't add a short memo line to contacts, u can't input first and second name, just name completely, the notes and to do are very limited in characters, like max.40 or something in memos and 20 in todos, u can't sync it with computer, it has some kind of sync online, but the manual beeing very spartan there is no explanations on how to do the sync, which is very annoing; the number of java apps that can be installed is limited, and even thoug it has some memory, for java it only uses 4 mb or so, and therefore many times when u launch an app it shows a very annoing message that it has no memory left, and it must close java apps running, which it does and restart the app u launched last; pretty weird that...The screen is ok, even though it said somewhere in the phone that it's only 65k, I like it; the brightness in bright sunlight is pretty ok, it could have one or two more steps thoug. The keys are very comfortable in my opinion, and the phone overall it give the impression of being light. The cam is 5 Mp, u can select it from the menu, it has some cute options, like sepia, grey tones, sepia blue, and negative. The sims are one above the other, and the microSd is next to them.
Nokia should sue Huawei for this design copycat. Looks like the Nokia E72
