2. Go into “Files”, then Local->SD card->dload, make sure UPDATE.APP is under dload directory.
3. Follow this step to upgrade transition package, Settings->Updater->Menu->Local update, please do not operate the phone during the upgrade process.
4. Please power on to check the version whether the upgrade is completed, go into Settings->About phone->Build number.

Hello .. I have huawei g8 2 Months .. I'm having the following problem: when I see a video on Facebook, the video flickering and spoils the sound of .. If I open the YouTube app and see the video there, I have no problem .. anyone know nothing?

AnonD-511571, 06 Mar 2016I saw a unit of G8 where u see waves (as if shaking) when u try to take photos. Hey Andrew. I have had my Huawei G8 for a week now. I love it. When I first got it I had that "waves" thing happening with my camera. I called my carrier who had no answer and asked me to bring it in. I could not wait and I was enjoying a beer and wanted to continue to enjoy my beer. I went into my "Settings" and turned off "Optical Image Stabilisation" and it worked. Barring that you can "Restore Defaults" in your "Settings". Now the waves are not there and it takes beautiful pictures

hi all...im using this phone about 2 month...all seem good to me...but when I'm playing games I've found that this screen doesn't detect much of my fingers..I don't know why..it's it just my phone or what??pls let me know..

G4 Stylus has ois but it hasn't good camera (worse than galaxy J5 or Honor 4C)

so you wont find much reviews online, here's my two-cents. The G8 is a very solid phone. Battery will last you the day however charging time from 0 to 100 takes 3 hours if this bothers you then you'll have to look elsewhere. As for me, the charging time doesnt take away from the G8's value. Rear camera performance is awesome. Colors are rich and details are kept. Bit of sharpening but improves on the over-all image quality. Front camera is okay but definitely not the best. It works well on well lit rooms but struggles with details on darker rooms, as with any other phone at this price. Performance with the Snapdragon 615 will get you through normal daily usage. Heats up a bit but nothing to bothersome. Lot of reviewers hate on the EMUI but I find it to be a good UI specially if you manage to fix everything into folders, after that, the UI becomes easier once you're used to it. Sound from the speaker is loud although it sound a bit high but nothing too bad. Call reception is nice. Signal is good thanks to its 'dual antenna'. Looks is at par with more premium devices, everyone who sees my G8 seems to agree.

Semas, 03 Mar 2016Hey guys, can I change the gold/metal style of basic icons to an other style from Settings ?yes you can under the themes app. also, with the update firmware (I'm on B140 on the global model) you get to download more themes other than the built in themes.

Maikel, 27 Feb 2016If you are a Camera Seeker, I don't think it's the Right phone to pick (by own trial)It's Good in day light and when using flash, but the problem is it has much noise (it's about the Sharpness of the photo)
