Lydia, 18 Feb 2017hey..
I'm a heavy user. I like to playing game and in the same time taking and edit picture/... moreThe phone can definitely handle graphic intensive games although there are some noticeable frame drops when playing games like Asphalt 8, but the games are totally playable. I'm quite pleased with the camera performance, you can check my Instagram (karz09) for some sample photos. Performance is good, although the UI is a bit sluggish sometimes but I guess that'll be fixed in EMUI 5.0.
I haven't used the Nova Plus but I don't think Huawei is updating Nova Plus from Marshmallow to Nougat, which is a big disappointment.
The camera sensor in 6x is definitely better than nova plus but the nova+ has OIS and can record videos at 2160p@30fps. Nova+ also has USB type c connector.

Thank you in advance :)
redmi note 4 or honor 6x .
i want better battery life
camera is not my priority.
The build quality of the phone is decent. The speaker quality is horrible although the audio via the headphone jack is better.
Coming to the display, the colors look washed out, whites look slightly cooler and screen brightness and the viewing angles are pretty good. The touch responsiveness is awful at times especially when scrolling up and down on Instagram making it quite uncomfortable after some time. I hope this gets fixed soon via an update/EMUI 5.0.
Fingerprint sensor is extremely fast and accurate and the call quality is also good. 4g works fine and the lack of 5GHz Wifi is a bummer.
Battery life is excellent but it would have been nice to have USB type C and quick charge but I'm not going to complain about it.
The biggest complaints I have with EMUI 4.1 is not being able dismiss notifications immediately when received/pull down a notification. The only thing you can do is swipe up the notification and view it later on the notification tray which is extremely annoying.
People who are complaining about poor RAM management should go to Advanced settings> battery manager > protected apps and switch the toggle to "protect all apps" so that the apps will still be in memory even when you turn off and on the display. Huawei's implementation of killing background apps immediately when the phone goes to sleep is not something people want especially when you have 3/4GB RAM. So, I strongly suggest people to protect all apps in the battery manager to keep all your running apps in memory.
Camera quality is really good considering the price of the phone. The dual camera function works well if you know how to use it correctly. It works really well for close-up shots. The dynamic range could have been better and sometimes the camera overexposes the photos during bright, sunny conditions. I have also noticed problems with the auto focus when tracking moving subjects. The phone constantly hunts for focus when I point the phone towards the sky to take pictures of birds. There's also a slight shutter lag which I hope gets fixed in the next update. Pro mode is good to have for those who want extra control over the camera.
Video recording is poor due to the lack of OIS or EIS. The slow mo feature is also disappointing.
Overall a really good phone. If they can fix some issues in EMUI 5.0, this can be the best budget smartphone.
The Good : Price, Camera, Battery life, Fingerprint scanner, Build quality, Performance (with some adjustments)
The Bad : EMUI 4.1, Touch responsiveness, Display, Speaker.
Feel free to reply if you have any questions regarding the phone. I'll try my best to answer them all.
