I have this phone and there are software glitches, for example, sometimes videos will not play back and sometimes the screen gets wonky, purchased mine from Bestbuy and considering exchanging it for moto g4 plus... It does get warm sometimes
Does it really have dual sim full active?
I see both this and that it has dual standby on various websites.
Why this phone (with pretty powerful CPU) can't handle 2k video? It has more powerful CPU than for example Nexus 5x, that can handle it. Anyone? :)

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2016What about the camera? You'd have to decide for yourself. There are samples of both on this site, I think. I'd wait for the Mate9 now that there've been some leaks about the Mate9 featuring a dual rear camera.
hey guys i got this phone since 2 weeks and it works unbelievably well. No lags, can play high graphic game like asphalt, good battery management, fast charging, under normal use battery can last 1 day, sound speaker very loud but sound quality can be better, camera full of interesting features, nice to touch....i really like this phone....everyone who consider to buy it....GO FOR IT!
Brai, 19 Sep 2016Honor 8. Hi everybody, 1. Is Honor 8 dual active sim capable? 2. Does it support OTG?Yes
yes, its support otg
Also one more thing if you with this phone you can always buy squaretrade(protection against accidentals) definitely worth having.
Anonymous, 19 Sep 2016Im in the same boat as you. I am debating on whether buying this or the oneplus 3. I honestly ... moreI ended up going the honor 8, I like the way it looks, overall it's a good compared to the oneplus 3, not as powerful but I came to realization that I'm not a extreme gamer and I'm not to replace my dslr camera, just wanted a phone with decent battery and works smooth and most importantly sleek looking
Its Dual-Sim-Full Active.
You can choose, which Sim-Card should support 4G
I want a phone with Volte+LTE features. So is this phone (Honor 8) support Volte? and if both sim are Volte+Lte than are both will work stand by or not?
Honor 8.
Hi everybody,
1. Is Honor 8 dual active sim capable?
2. Does it support OTG?
AnonD-481306, 15 Sep 2016Honor 8 vs mi 5 which one do you choose to buy? Need a little help hereSince I had both(gave Honor 8 to my sister),if look at it straight objective...it's a no contest win for Mi5.
While the build quality is same, both are fingerprint magnets in specific colors, and looks is a highly subjective point,i can name few things Mi5 has the edge:
CPU + GPU is highly(and I mean HIGHLY) superior in Mi5 if u play games.
Screen in Mi5 is superior in everything to Honor 8 even in blacks.
Screen has Gorilla Glass4,Honor's...if it has any, manufacturers of it needs to be sued. Scratches like anything I've seen in my life from both front and rear. No keyes,no lighters,no change in pocket. It just does.
Sound is superior in Mi5 and I'm talking headphones here.
Dev support is slam dunk win for Mi5. Cyanogen mod official is coming now that kernel is released and community is more alive. XDA has signed agreement with Huaweii regarding dev of roms for H8 but devs are unwilling to work in unknown enviroment(Kirin) for now. So you're stuck with EMUI or what it's called. MIUI in Mi5 is no paradise either but at least u have options and they will be only bigger in near future.
Honor has better cam if you're a photo freak. To me,to my FB,twitter and instagram, they're the same in terms of performing.
So considering recent pricing that puts Mi5 3/64 version around 300-320$(delivery in EU,and pricing likely to go down as Mi5s announced for next week) I objectively cant see any reason to go for Honor 8.
There u go.
