IP 68? Customers prefer to be able to remove/replace the battery. WHY do you make the battery non-removable except by the service centre? That is really annoying. What about the EU GPS system Galileo?
Really 300eur only? It is so worth 😍😍😍
This looks so much better than the P10 at a more realistic price. No radio though and let's see how long the battery lasts, previous Honor phones had terrible battery, barely lasted til evening.
Difference between Honor 9 and Huawei p10 besides the looks and price is Honor 9 gets the 6gb variant, includes a better audio chip, has capacitive buttons while camera lacks OIS, front camera is F2.0 compared to F1.9 on P10, and uses a LTPS display while P10 has the Neo IPS display.
Unlike the P10, the Honor 9 actually has optional capacitive buttons besides the front finger print sensor.
Just realised something weird. Huawei created HiSilicon 659 and other new processors for midrange Huawei phones. But they did not even change the HiSilicon 960 & 20MP + 12MP Camera Setup. I mean this is kinda boring tho. For example, u like Huawei devices. U want to choose a flagship phone. But u realised all got almost the same specs. So u will feel bored choosing it
rich watarious, 11 Jun 2017Was very much obsessed by phone phone waiting anxiously for it in some few months past but I m... moreI agree that there is too much wasted space at the top and bottom of the Honor 9. Huawei is not (yet) following the lead of the Samsung S8, LG 6 or Xiaomi Mix and giving us phones with minimal top and bottom bezels, which makes this phone look like it was designed a couple of years ago.
I like this. Also waiting for the Motorola X4 for comparison. Although the deciding factor for me will definitely be the regional availability. Honor 8 and Xiaomi Mi5/s were never made officially available in my country even though we're close to China. Neither was the Moto X style. fml
Looks a bit like a Sony phone with that wide/thick top and bottom bezel. Maybe copying a Motorola design?? With a height/length of over 147 mm, that's the problem from a purely elegance perspective. Would have looked sharper, more appealing, if it had been 4 or 5 mm shorter.
How come it's a copy of Xiaomi Mi6? It looks exactly similar to Honor 8 except the placement of fingerprint sensor on the front side which they followed after P10.
Get your facts straight before commenting negative about the phone.
Was very much obsessed by phone phone waiting anxiously for it in some few months past but I must register my disappointment today. They are going the way of Xioami mi 6 but wasteful space is once again there on top and bottom which I hate. Still no image stablilisation, no 4k video capture, no radio, no audio 3.5mm jack, Ooohhhh Huawei you disappointed me this time. The ois and the 4k are as important as the camera itself this days. The standard of Honor 8 was great so we expect something greater at least like Honor 8 pro.
