Looks a bit like a Sony phone with that wide/thick top and bottom bezel. Maybe copying a Motorola design?? With a height/length of over 147 mm, that's the problem from a purely elegance perspective. Would have looked sharper, more appealing, if it had been 4 or 5 mm shorter.
How come it's a copy of Xiaomi Mi6? It looks exactly similar to Honor 8 except the placement of fingerprint sensor on the front side which they followed after P10.
Get your facts straight before commenting negative about the phone.
Was very much obsessed by phone phone waiting anxiously for it in some few months past but I must register my disappointment today. They are going the way of Xioami mi 6 but wasteful space is once again there on top and bottom which I hate. Still no image stablilisation, no 4k video capture, no radio, no audio 3.5mm jack, Ooohhhh Huawei you disappointed me this time. The ois and the 4k are as important as the camera itself this days. The standard of Honor 8 was great so we expect something greater at least like Honor 8 pro.
REALperson, 10 Jun 2017no headphone jack..why would they need to put DTS if they dont have headphone jack..DTS only w... moreoh well, but all i know is they remove headphone jack and its a mistake that some phone never did again to their latest phones.
No 3.5mm port, no radio and if it's anything like the previous Honor phones, rubbish battery life that barely manages working hours let alone a full day. This phone is already a dead duck.
Not impressed by the thick/wide top and bottom bezels. Should be no more than 143 mm in length rather than the 147+ that it is.
ShadowJaiz, 10 Jun 2017How sad that they Copy the mistake of other phone. Removing Headphone jack? better to Buy Huaw... moreno headphone jack..why would they need to put DTS if they dont have headphone jack..DTS only works with headphones plugged in
How sad that they Copy the mistake of other phone. Removing Headphone jack? better to Buy Huawei Honor 8 Pro, and also no DTS? How Disappointing
Anonymous, 30 May 2017Is back 'button' still in screen location? or at bottom? what a kind of bad design if the back... moreI have the honor 8 and you can switch the back button and 'open pages' button around in the settings. They are soft buttons and there are no actual buttons on the phone (capacitive or analogue) so you can choose between a few orientation options in the settings - you can also choose whether or not to make use of an app drawer.
Is back 'button' still in screen location? or at bottom? what a kind of bad design if the back button home button still inside the screen.
Indeed Huawei is more going the wasting front space at the top and bottom. This one too no radio? Nowadays it seems all your high end phones don't come with radio. Please then create a radio up on the Play Store for us. One like in your phones, one that does not use internet.
Anonymous, 27 May 2017look like a mi5unfortunately it does look like a mi5 .... not liking the direction Huawei is going with it's phones this year...
-NEOPHYTE-, 27 May 2017noThen make 2 versions, because 5.1 inch is too small for my taste!
