Also even if it's big battery obviously there are some batteries do not perform the same as standard. Why are you talking about the battery? Are you an Honor View 10 phone owner that face such issue? Or just another person who looks down this phone just because of some review so that they could feel better for themselves getting another phone. I had no issues with the battery life.

But GSMArena's battery life list gives it only a 74 hours endurance rating, that's poor for a battery that size. I would expect that of a 3000 mAh or smaller battery but not one as large as 3750 mAh.
AnonD-749199, 29 Apr 2018may i know v10 does it facing any battery charging issues? like used up to 3 hour to full charges? You need to use the included cable and charger and you should by right charge 1.5hrs max for full charge. IT'S USING SuperCharge you cannot use Quick Charge. I am not sure if it accepts Fast Charge another tech by Huawei.

Regarding the latest firmware. According to Firmware Finder for Huawei (Playstore App) by Team MT there is a new 141 firmware its called BKL-L09C636B141 (8.0.0.141) (FullOTA-MF) 2.857GB
I don't know if its taken from OTA. Anyone daring try install and let rest of us know. Also can it be installed without root?

Lead2XL, 28 Apr 2018How can a phone with such a large battery have such mediocre battery life??It's not a large battery it's not even 4000mAh if you want a big battery go for Lenovo P2 Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 or Mix Max 2. That said I got exactly 11.5hrs SoT with 2 hrs of it on games and rest on fb, web browsing and YouTube.

So it use supercharge but does it support quick charge 3.0? Especially PowerBanks with such feature.

Does Honor View 10 support Quick charging 3.0? Is it slower than their own? I am thinking about getting this phone and a quick charging Qualcomm 3.0 supported PowerBank. Lastly not really important but Honor was part of Huawei right? So does this mean I can take honor phone to their service center? Huawei is nearer to my place than Honor center.
On my budget, honor view 10 or huawei mate 10 (not the pro)? Thanks
What is latest patch for view 10 is it 8.0.0.140? Also is 8.1 available for View 10 yet? I am Malaysia and I just bought the phone. The latest patch I got was 140
1: Can the Huawei Honor View 10 be activated by saying "OK Google" when the lock screen is on?
2: Can the Huawei Honor View 10 be told "take a picture" and have it actually open the camera and snap a a picture?

Anonymous, 26 Apr 2018How is battery life? Heavy User here. I do lots of web browsing and maybe 2~3hr gaming. Err if... more I'm able to get 7-8 hours of screen on time. 4-5 hours of tv series, 30 min of gaming and 30 min of browsing. Whenever I reduce tv series duration SOT goes up to 9-10 hours. I'd say battery back is good. Regarding updates, my opinion is getting less frequent and stable update is better than receiving monthly updates with full of bugs. I was using redmi note 3 for 2 years and mi was never able to push out one proper update. Every update had plenty of bugs. Battery back up was terrible with 4 hours of sot despite having 4000 mah. We will get updates but it'll be slow. I don't think it's that big of a deal. I've read that hauwei provides updates for two years so as long we get stable updates it's fine even its slow.
Looking to get a new phone which is better battery life wise. Huawei Mate 10 Pro or Honor View 10.
I seen some sites and YouTube stated weak battery for view 10 on the other hand Mate 10 Pro also receive complains about sudden battery drains for some customers at xda. Anyone with experience using both phones care to comment and recommend me? Thanks.

How is battery life? Heavy User here. I do lots of web browsing and maybe 2~3hr gaming. Err if got time 1 TV series. I am on Lenovo P2 5100mAh. This battery is smaller but I also read some reviews says battery below avgle.com others says ok. Lastly I read lack of security updates. It's now under my price range.
