Huawei is launching a foldable screen laptop

Huawei HarmonyOS

Huawei will unveil its nova 14 series smartphones on Мay 19 and it will be joined by a new MateBook Pro laptop running the recently unveiled HarmonyOS PC operating system. Those won’t be the only devices at the show, as Huawei has now confirmed another device that’s set to be unveiled at next week’s event.

Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate Design will debut as the brand’s first foldable screen laptop. It seems this will be in the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold and Asus Zenbook 17 Fold category. The device will likely launch with HarmonyOS PC. Huawei did not share any additional details, but we should be getting more info in the coming days.

Foldable laptop advantages: 1. Easily to change keyboard in any way, 2. Smal screen/ BIG screen/ tablet usage scenarios, 3. Possible to use with physical keyboard.

Is Tetra fold the future? We already have the Trifold which is a barphone when folded and a tablet when unfolded. A four fold unfolded extends this to a laptop screen. Harmony OS is the fitting OS for it.
