Promo materials for the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro have leaked, revealing the highlights of the upcoming flagship. Almost invariably they connect back to the Kirin 970 and its AI capabilities.
The Huawei Mate 10 is all about AI-enhanced functionality
For one, the AI will recognize up to 14 scenes and automatically adjust the settings of the camera. It will also power a digital assistant that can look through the camera. The assistant will be able to translate text seen through the camera entirely offline – all running on the chipsets NPU (Neural Processing Unit).

Speaking of, the new Leica dual cam will have two SUMMLUX-H lenses – both with f/1.6 aperture. The dual cam has a new layout, now oriented vertically instead of near the top edge. The camera and flash will lay on a textured strip – a new design element on the Mate series (though we’ve seen it before.

Anyway, the Huawei Mate 10 will be waterproof – IP67 – and will offer peak LTE speeds up to 1.2Gbps (Cat. 18). Also, it will feature a 4,000mAh battery, but now it has the AI management system to look after it. Super Charge is on board for fast top-ups.

The Huawei Mate 10 and its many versions will be unveiled on October 16.
Indeed Leica camera with f/1.6 aperture will be crazily powerful. Wow, even leica camera with f/2.2 aperture is very good. Something crazily dangerous is coming and coming soon.
If these rumours are true: Thanks Huawei for not downgrading the battery capacity, unlike Xiaomi which has already removed the 3.5 mm headphone jack on their flagships. Dual f/1.6 sounds extremely promising. BTW is it SUMMARIT or SUMMILUX lenses...
