Huawei Mate 10 Lite leaks in hands-on video, showing off its four cameras and 18:9 screen

Huawei Android

To the disappointment of no one, we yesterday found out that Huawei won't rebrand the Maimang 6 for countries other than China as G10, instead selling the same device as the Mate 10 Lite. That leak also brought us full spec details and leaked press renders showing the soon-to-be Mate 10 Lite in all its glory ahead of its September 22 unveiling in China (as the Maimang 6 - it will only officially become a Mate on October 16).

Today someone in China has outed a very short hands-on video with this smartphone, which quickly shows off a live unit for the first time.

At this point you've undoubtedly gotten familiar with the Mate 10 Lite's design, but it doesn't hurt to see it once more. The device will be Huawei's first to feature a total of four cameras, and the first to come with a near bezel-less 18:9 screen.

The Mate 10 Lite is rumored to sport a 5.9-inch 1,080x2,160 panel, the Kirin 659 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 3,340 mAh battery, 16 MP + 2 MP rear cameras, and 13 MP + 2 MP front snappers. It's expected to land in Europe in mid-November for €379, running Android 8.0 Oreo from day one.

Sad that the high end version is with edge, but ok, mate 9 pro has it too. Personally I prefer protection on bezels over bezelless edges.
