Also lets face it Google does not own AOSP version of Android, the only catch is security updates will be delayed. V-V

i.e. no matter how good the hardware of the smartphone, it's just a brick without an OS.

Xxx, 19 Sep 2019No google service means no android upgrade?Not relevant. Huawei will keep updating it since it's AOSP (open sourced OS), the only thing that's different after the american ban is that it'll not come with google apps which you have to install it yourself if you need it.

Hudinited, 19 Sep 2019It's simple to download Google installer 2.0 and you have completely functional Google service... moreYou cannot just simply download Google apk files if it's not in the file system and approved by Google. Its not the same as the Chinese ones which have Google approval and sideload works, this wont work as Google will block it
