This rivals the iPhone 12 Pro and Note 20. Note 20 is far behind, so the iPhone 12 Pro is the main rival. Mate 40 beats iPhone 12 Pro.

Lstar4real, 30 Oct 2020China Version have both wire and wireless charging of 40W....This Phone have stereo speakers... I sent the proof to GSMArena but it also only has IP53 as well as that 40W wireless charging. It's not only China version; it's Mate 40 overall.
All-in-all, it is a decent upgrade from the Mate 30 (even if the size shrunk a little).

Nothing really fantastic. Quite disappointed with their recent new launches. Most newer models from huawei, the batteries capacity are defaulted at 4400mAh.
Mate 10 and Mate 20 series by far the best phones ever built by Huawei especially mate 20x!
