AnonD-462236, 27 Nov 2015Few things that always bugs me about Huawei: 1. Bloat load of apps 2. Uninspiring Android RO... moreIdk if you're kidding about the battery, but as someone who has experience with Huawei phablets - their batteries last forever. On P7 not so much, but Mate and Mate7 batteries are amazing.
Lovely phone, I can't wait to be able to buy it. I'm disappointed about the look of the camera - it's kinda ugly. I liked the square one on Mate7.
microSD, up to 128 GB (uses SIM 2 slot)
Everything is great except for the very weak GPU
when this phone will be available in INdonesia... i cant wait...
AnonD-462236, 27 Nov 2015Few things that always bugs me about Huawei:
1. Bloat load of apps
2. Uninspiring Android RO... moreThe Mate serise has good battery back up .
I really don't care that my phone has a 5000 mAh or 3000 mAh battery .
I only want my phone to have 1.5-2 days battery life .
And Mate 8 can record 4K video and 1080 @ 60 FPS ( I checked the Chinese online site of Huawei, which confirms it )
AnonD-451592, 26 Nov 2015Poooooooooooooooooooor very pooor gpu pls dont buy this phone if u are a gameri always thought a phone was meant for phone calls, emails, and text...
Few things that always bugs me about Huawei:
1. Bloat load of apps
2. Uninspiring Android ROM with no updates
3. Weak GPU
4. Battery is getting nowhere
5. Video Recording options are still stuck in 2013 (only 1080p)
Things that i like about Huawei:
1. Excellent CPUs
2. Good displays
3. Fingerprint sensors that actually work
4. Availability in many countries
5. Great design
So, would i buy a Huawei, still the answer is 'No'
Jane, 26 Nov 2015it does support an SD card.. can you even read?Card slot : microSD, up to 128 GB (uses SIM 2 slot)
Anonymous, 07 Nov 2015yes but huawei is the exception. My previously owned p6 received multiple firmware updates not... moreThat's a nice way of justifying the phone's lack of official updates, I'd still much rather have real firmware updates with features that actually makes a real difference in day to day usage like Doze and individual app permissions.
Bobby, 26 Oct 2015My mate7 hangs a lot no updates available. Hope mate8 will be much better. You can thank the Kirin 935 for that, and lack of updates is one of the reasons why I'm reluctant to buy most Chinese phones.
This will definitely be my next phone!! Bye bye samsung!
Anonymous, 22 Nov 2015Would you buy the Huawei Nexus 6P or wait for the Mate 8 ?Nexus 6P for QHD (which is ideal for 5.7-6" phones), AMOLED display, way better SD 810, USB Type-C and 2160p recording. Not to mention stock Android and super fast updates is just the icing on an already delicious cake.
I'm waiting for the Huawei P9, I don't like 6 once phablets but this phone is probably beast.
The specs says that it's only capable of shooting 1080p, dafuq?
Mary, 27 Nov 2015Not everyone wants to play games, the GPU is fine for casual gaming if it calls for it. That's true but you have to admit it's disappointing when you consider the fact that modern phones with SD and Exynos processors are way better and the next batch of SoC's is about to come out any day now. Not worth it for the price Huawei is asking for.
[deleted post]Lmao kinda mean but also true, no wonder big phones are so popular in Asia if you catch my drift lol
