I have a NXT-L29 and what I found very dissappointing is the lack of Chromecast support for screen cast.
the mirror share option is not compatible with Chromecast . Must be compatible with some specific hardware nobody has in Europe

Hello, I have finally got the android 7.0 nougat update OTA after a very long wait, my phone is mate 8 NXT-L29 64GB version, and also I am in Libya. I haven't experienced any bug till now so everything is very smooth, also I haven't experienced any battery problems. So the update made my mate 8 just like the mate 9 with the new EMUI 5.0 . So after all I'm very happy with new the update.

I have had my G8 for 16 months in December 2016 it kept saying it was
overheating it was sent back under warranty.
I got it back in January it is not the same and I am worried what to do the 24 month warranty period is nearly over.
Any suggestions?

I was using this phone exactly one year and I had upgraded from EMUI 4.1 to EMUI 5.0. After upgraded, my phone was hang and cannot turn off the phone only show the "Huawei Logo". When I went to service centre, they said PCBA / Motherboard was death. Gonna charge thousand plus if I wanna to repair it because I just out of warranty. I really disappointed with this phone. I had been bought or using others phone more thant a year but NO problem. I suggest NEVER to buy this phone.

Mahmoud, 17 Apr 2017Mate 8 or s7 edge need your opinionsHey bro, I've used both devices and in my opinion the Mate 8 is better in overall. The S7 Edge has a better camera, water resistance and higher screen resolution but apart from that I think the Mate 8 is better in other aspects. Hope it helps.

I used mate 8 almost for one year and then I just bought honor 8. The reason of changing was only size nothing else it's not even hanged for a second through out the year but honor 8 some times hang and I don't like when phone start handing I don't know what could be the reason.. So changing again after 4 months of use and this time want to buy p10... Love the design
