AMOLED screens contrast ratio is infinite. The range of colours are better on AMOLED screens hands down.

Yea sure games won't look as flashy compared with 1440p but yea... I can live with it, it is a screen above retina standard.
As far as I am concerned I would trade the 1440p on my lg g4 for a 1080p and more battery life ;)
