how r u..? i bought mate 8, 64gb and 4gb ram , 4 dayz ago... whn i switched onn then it z showing 2.04 gb ram available out of 4gb for user use...no any app running behind...then how it z posible....Ram should b 3 or above the 3 available for user use.... plz tel me wt z ths...it's a big headache for me... nd also tel tht how much ram showing in ur mate 8...my id:

It's just too powerful and didn't leave any background service running to preserve power for the phone. So you need to manually go and protect the apps that you wanna run in the background. End of the Story.

Then select the Power saving option, after that scroll down until you see the protected apps, open it and protect the apps that you wanna keep alive in the background, then your problems solved.....

What are you talking about, did you even touch this phone? This phone barely heats when plugged with done browsing and light gaming. My former G4 was pretty much melting under same conditions, that's were qHD resolution really makes a difference. So far I love it, bought it with 4 years warranty :)

i want to buy it but does it recieving all notifications normally of all apps when screen is off & no apps running in background? or i have to open the application to recieve the notifications & keep it running in the background by locking it as usual i do till now in my mate 7 many apps like whatss app outlook app and many other apps no receiving notification unlees i open it there is also a break google notification i tried every thing but nothing useful even the customer services doesnt make any thing i think the problem is in the bad android skin(emotion ui) please answers especially from owners for using experience thanks

am not a Huawei lover. first time am using this brand. and now am using this phone last one month. may be you can get the best smartphones now available in market. but in my opinion, truly i love this phone. such an amazing performance. but only the drop back i feel in this phone is video recording clarity is not good. other than the phone is really amazing performance. still i dont get any hanging problem, over heat issues, restart issues, one day battery life for sure, within 35 min to 45 min 65% battery charged, OTG support etc...

Improper UI optimization is a big reason behind bad battery performance.

Suberb battery, strong cpu, impossibile to block or lagg, good both cameras, incredible phone. Last phones for me was lg g2 and mate7, however mate8 is the best in my opinion!

Can anybody explain/help me about the Huawei & Sony Battery difference ===== HUAWEI Huawei Mate 8 have Non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery AND Sony xperia Z2 Non-removable Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery --->>> difference is 800 mAh while Stand-by mode Huawei timing Up to 528 hours (3G) and Sony Z2 Up to 690 h (2G) / Up to 740 h (3G) - Why this difference is, if Huawei battery is bigger than Sony then why not hours time more than Sony ???
