And then does it have an imp... moreThe battery life for Huawei phones are not good only, it is the best ... amazing indeed, I have Honor 4X which has a 3000mAh battery and sometimes I forget plug it for a day or two.

I have been waiting for Mate-7 upgrade for a long time, can't wait to get the new Mate-8, I hope they have the new Mocha Color. Huawei is the best brand I've ever used and I have tried all brands since Ericsson phones until today. It has more features than new Samsung Models and much less price, and the quality is amazing.

This phablet is very powerful and very nice as good as Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or Samsung Galaxy S6 plus.
I think phablets are very better than phone or tablets.
With one of them you have both of them (phone and tablet).

No point. You cant max out the performance of the Kirin 950 anyways with day to day tasks, the Mali T880 may be more power efficient than the adreno 530 and it has a 1080P display. Unless you wanna wait until Google announces a phone with a 820 soc, it wont be worth. If the makers dont update theyr UI, then the phones will continue to be slow. The Nexus 6P, with the 810 V2.1 is already more future proof, than an S7 with an 820 or 8890. Software matters a lot more than a 40% improvement, when theres really no visible real usage benefit, since it will be stuck in android marshmallow, and the 6p will be on 7.1.
everyone for real no 4k great built and desgin is also great but no 4k for real and hwuawei i dont know overpriced i think i can get s7 for same price when the time comes but for real mate 8 seems perfect phablet it is cool big screend but super amoled 4 k is a bummer please hwawei add thoose for a boom device

From what I read and saw I think Huawei is really a beast right now. And I am saying this not to put in shadow the Note 5 (which I think it's a great phone). In spring I want to buy a new phone and I am still putting 2 phones in the test: S6 Edge Plus or Huawei Mate 8.
Indeed Samsung's screen is gorgeous but I really believe that Huawei's thinking is verry good: full hd display is enough for a human eye. You can't say "OMG this screen is the worst" because Iphone has the same resolution (a bit bigger 368 -> 401 ppi).
I had Iphone 6, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S6, BB Passport and now I have HTC ONE M8. I never had a Huawei phone, but I am really interested in buying one (if the price is not that big like Mate S).
In conclusion I think that although Huawei is a chinese product... we have to consider that these phones are getting better and better. It's worth noticing and even buying. After all, every smartphone gets old after one year of usage.
