would be much better a Mate 8 mini 5 inch fullhd same specs 3100 mah 78% screen ratio.
I have Honor 7 is it great but 5.2 is too big with massive lower bezel
A masterpiece...
I would always prefer this site to all for regular smartphones specs.
power!

May, 27 Dec 2015Oppo r 7 plus vs Huawei mate 8 which one better?Huawei Mate 8
Oppo's flagship hardware is already "outdated".
In addition, current benchmarks show that the Mate 8 is better than Oppo's

Probably not using English, is it?
You might want to check your grammar and structure first.
Ofc, 02 Jan 2016Camera is good. Been using the phone for 3 weeks now and I'm getting mate 9 after thisSomewhat inaccurate.
The Camera is "good enough"
Meaning, if you're only into snapping okay pictures without too much details, then this phone's camera is good for you. Shutter speed is slower but should be able to let you get by
This is incomparable to Samsung's Camera though because the pics are clearer, has more pixel density and colors are more accurate.
This might be because of the GPU
AnonD-483008, 02 Jan 2016for people who tested this phone is it fullactive or stndby . mate 7 is fullactive sims
DSFA Still the same with Mate 7.
Dual SIM, Dual Active.
This means you can receive 2 calls at the same time (1 for each SIM)
This is the reason why professionals and business peeps loved the Mate 7 and might love Mate 8 even more.
Rick03, 08 Jan 2016Hello!
This is nice piece of hardware... Now I am lost... What should I buy? Note 5 or Mate 8?What do you use your phone for? Or what is your lifestyle?
Go for NOTE 5 if you are:
- having the extra cash
- into 3D intense games (NOT Candy Crush nor those simple tap games)
- require simultaneous multitasking of running apps
Other than the above, the Mate 8 is equally good if not better
Speed/performance wise, MATE 8 has improved and has exceeded Exynos 7420's CPU benchmarks (both Single and Multicore) but still is not par with 3D intensive graphics (lower GPU performance)
pongerz007, 02 Jan 2016does it really have a hifi? hows the audio quality?
thanks :)Both audio from BT and 3.5mm Jack are superb and clear. It's not soft.
Not too sure with the Loudspeaker though.
People said it is Mono but when I tried it, it did sound Stereo (Not DOLBY though)
Maybe it is Mono speaker because it is only 1 speaker but with stereo sound?
Im not too sure... I didn't have any other devices with loudspeakers to compare it to when I tried it so I might be wrong.
AnonD-483039, 08 Jan 2016Lol...$100 more than galaxy A9, yeah rite....huarrrrhahahahaGalay A9 is mid-range and has lower specs
Rajasekhara, 06 Jan 2016Why the hell they are doing with nano Sims...? It's more convenient to the user with micro Sim... moreObvious reason.
General market feedback from users in major regions (ASIA and Europe) usually uses dual SIM more than the Micro SD card as long as the internal ROM is sufficient enough.
Hence, to lessen construction cost and to make the price a bit more fair to users, they have to do that.
