I have been a fan of huawei devices since I got my Huawei G610, I have my huawei mediapad t1 7 plus a month ago, Im planning to upgrade to Huawei Mate 9 given its specs I think its a great device to use on a daily basis.
Mate 9 doesn't drain much battery & I love it. Enable the do not disturb mode before sleep & it only drains 3%.
my experience is the first 2 year, the battery is still fine for android phone, but after that, it will need to be charged twice a day for a normal use.
Just bought my new mate 9 and my battery seem to be drain quite fast. Wake up at 10am with 83% left but after 4 hours, my battery left about 27%. Quite heavy usuage with gaming and video. Any comments? Still EMUI B136.
I've been using mate 9 for a month now. The battery life is great as well as the super charging & camera. On my observations, the battery life depends on the user(obviously). If you use wifi,the battery will last more than a day(if you don't have any third party apps running) but if you use data connection,the battery drains faster. But it still last for a day though(for regular use). It took 1 1/3 hour to fully charge but less than an hour when aeroplane mode activated(unbothered). There's 2 battery saver mode on this phone;
1. Power saving mode
2. Ultra saving mode
The video recorder is too shaky though but overall it's a great phone.
no battery issue for me at all. not heavy user but still browsing quite often daily.
Battery sucks!! 4000 mAh gives only a number,it drains fast.
It has only Full HD resolution with LCD display doesn't give full day battery life.
I was about to buy Moto Z, which would be much faster and stock android. I would suggest you guys to buy Moto Z instead of buying this Chinese company phone.
does this model supports dual smart calling, i mean that if i m receiving one call on sim 1 can i receive second call on sim 2 as well at same time when first call is going on sim 1...please tell

Mate 9 back are so cheap...mine the top and bottom behind are so roughly made like tiles with a little filling...so uneven and the lines are so noticeable you can feel very rough surface when touching.I don't think mate 9 price is reasonable for this
