It is an interesting smartphone,I would prefer a little bit wider, but it seems to hace a good camera and generous features. Unfortunately is not water proof.
It's true. In pictures this looks like samsung edge. When i was at the shop to look at it, the curve/edge is not that extreme as on samsung. This look better i think. The price is high but it will drop . Very nice phone . I dont know much about audio on this one so i guess that is one reason i will not buy this phone yet.
I've had this phone for a week now and I absolutely love it. Feels really great in the hand and it's lightning fast. It comes with a case and a pre-installed screen protector. Runs on Android 7.0 out of the box which is a nice upgrade from my previous phone (LG G3) which ran on 5.1. The battery life is ridiculously long. I haven't had it dip below 30% in the week I've had it and that's from playing with it all day (settings, camera, YouTube, games, etc.) The Super Quick Charge is crazy fast as well. Faster than Quick Charge which really says something 😉
The 128Gb storage is great, too. Definitely recommend this phone to anyone thinking about getting it. If Huawei keeps this kind of work up, Samsung and LG are gonna have to watch their backs.
Please help me here, is this phone have Wi Fi calling future?
Stating the obvious, 29 Jan 2017This looks awfully similar to Samsung''s current crop of devices. You can see where they drew ... morewho are "WE" in this sentences. You need to learn to accept the truth dude. I saw the phone and touched it by my self. Its design just looks a bit similar to S7 edge but it has just a little bit curve and the point is it's BEAUTIFUL THAN THE S7 EDGE and convenient to hold it in my hand than the ugly S7 edge!
This looks awfully similar to Samsung''s current crop of devices. You can see where they drew inspiration from. It might might sell in Asia, and Africa but here in UK (and Europe) we still love Samsung.
No water-resistant I/P?? No Micro SD slot??,, at this very high price???.. Holyshit!!!
AnonD-633729, 27 Jan 2017It is not the best phone for sure. It is a chinese phone after all.Why would a chinese phone be worse than any other?
For those who says this phone doesn't worth it cause they has never get hold on this phone... I has been Samsung and iPhone user for many years... If I can keep my s7 & iPhone 6 in the phone box, this means this phone is serious sh1ts... Dual active sum card, 6gb ram, 128 go and high megapixer for rear and front camera... What else u need? The phone is insanely fast... Finger print is like one touch buttons... Price is abit steep for China phone... Trust me... It is worth every penny...
AnonD-633729, 27 Jan 2017It is not the best phone for sure. It is a chinese phone after all.One of the best. Your Apple and LG isn't interesting, that's for sure.
Anonymous, 27 Jan 2017Have you used Sony phone? Without feeling its smoothness and quality you post negative comments.Um, I actually had the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3, and they weren't smooth at all. They lagged, and the UI was awful. Not buying a Sony phone, that's for sure.
AnonD-625786, 26 Jan 2017Even worse.Have you used Sony phone? Without feeling its smoothness and quality you post negative comments.
Huawei obviously had a communication problem regarding the SD-card with this phone, but they totally leave their mislead customers in the dust, they don't care about us. There was no indication on their website that their flagship was the only one that didn't have SD-card and lot's of other sites were apparently mislead to believe that it had.
So never Huawei again.
Aussie, 24 Jan 2017Hi Everyone who own this phone, I was thinking of getting one but I have a discrepancy on the ... moreNo, I was totally shocked when I received the Mate 9 Pro and it didn't have the SD-card. Lot's of sites are still reporting that it has SD-card, but it doesn't.
I'm so unhappy with this phone.
copycat? this is like s6 edge and s7 edge mixed together. they need to make something like mi mix.
Alien , 26 Jan 2017Wrong. I'm currently using a Vertu and a Sony.Even worse.
AnonD-625786, 26 Jan 2017You wouldn't buy Chinese smartphones because you're simply an Apple or Samsung fanboy. lolWrong. I'm currently using a Vertu and a Sony.
It is interesting to read all the comments from people who has desided, i repaet desiden, that Huawei is no good, at the same time you get the feeling, no one has tried their products.
I have the phone above. The design is clearly inspired by S7 edge and HTC 10, including the quality. The phone is also insanely fast, long batterilife, insanely fast fingerprintscanner etc etc
The only thing i miss is iP certification and despite a beatuful design, Huawei should be able to make their design. The version sold in Denmark comes with 128gb storage.
My girlfrien own a S7, wich alows me to compare. Mate 9 pro is better in some areas(it is also newer), but lacks iP certifikation and own design language. But i agree with everyone who has made review, Mate 9 pro is the best currently the best phone. And to ignore Huawei is like Nokia and Microsoft ignoring iPhone and Android.
