Shaun Moroz, 17 Nov 2016Wrong info then, my friend. No, It isn't. It's well known site like this one and it doesn't give wrong information, at least, not that I know of. The link: http://www.xda-developers.com/huawei-mate-9kirin-960-early-testing-comparison-with-pixel-xlsnapdragon-821/. If you still think its wrong then check it out yourself and stop letting your love or faith for this chip blind you, lol. Before you say it's an early testing I can guarantee you when they test it again it will still beat it in GPU. And oh yeah, I was wrong when I said it's a ccomparison between the Mali-G71 MP8 and Adreno 530 rather between mate 9 and Google pixel. Though, I must admit it's powerful chip.
I think will sell RM3,099 to RM3,299 for this model on Malaysia market as soon as December 2016.
Shaun Moroz, 16 Nov 2016Not anymore. The Kirin 960 is close to those chipsets in terms of graphics, since it has the n... moreIt's close doesn't mean it surpasses it. It still beats it with a significant margin. I'm stating from a comparison between the Mali-G71 MP8 and Adreno 530. Info from XDA news.
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2016Does this phone support microSD? I didn't find this on Huawei web siteThe dual SIM version supports 0ne SIM + microsd/2nd nano SIM. In a hybrid slot configuration.
The single SIM version supports one SIM and Micro SD card.
lol seriously that looks so much like a note 7 i pity the person who tries to take it on an airplane
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2016Does this phone support microSD? I didn't find this on Huawei web siteit is dual sim or sim/microSD. all in 1 slot. So you have to choose ;).
Huawei really took the opportunity of the down fall of note 7 with porche design and pro version mate 9. All china manufacturer take the chance to advance into the highest tier phone market segment... Hope they able to replace the demands of this market segment
Aspros, 16 Nov 2016So this is supposed to be the poor man's S7 edge, with some compromises typical for the chines... moreyou know there battery life is longer, except for video playing? if an battery starts losing capacity after 5 months, its an warranty issue and you can get an new 1? This phone beats the S7 almost in every benchmark? about the copying? Every manufacter does it.. Samsung does the same (water resistant etc) So instead of saying things, wait till this phone can be compared to an S7 ;).
Aspros, 16 Nov 2016So this is supposed to be the poor man's S7 edge, with some compromises typical for the chines... moreObviously you've never used a Huawei phone. Lower build quality? You must be kidding.
So this is supposed to be the poor man's S7 edge, with some compromises typical for the chinese phones, like lower built quality, bigger bezels, copied design, inferior canera and screen, supposedly bigger battery capacity but lesser bettery stamina in real life and after a few times the phones feels like having the half battery capacity.
But overall its close enough to S7 edge, yet what would you expect from a copy cat?
To be significantly cheaper than the original, otherwise whats the point of its existence? This is where this phone fails! And on wideness, 2017 flagships are manouvrable because they have they have discovered that the sweet spot to make them manegeable are to be smaller than 7.5 cms, with the sweet spot beeing at 7.2, close but not good enough Huawei, still a vast improvement from the previous models, the bezels are stellar for a chinese phone!
L-Kd, 16 Nov 2016True, true but the graphics still trail behind the A10 and SD 820/821 in regards to no. 5Not anymore. The Kirin 960 is close to those chipsets in terms of graphics, since it has the new Mali-G71 MP8 GPU.
AnonD-610497, 16 Nov 2016what's ur opinion? purchasing Mate 9 or mate 9 Pro or s7 edge ! I'm confusion :'(Get the Mate9 Pro, it's way better than the S7 edge :)
Wow! is this the promised mate 9 pro for the large market? It seems to have come faster than we thought it would. And the amazing thing for me is that they kept the same specs and bring variety of colours too. Wow, well done Huawei but what is the price?
AnonD-610497, 16 Nov 2016what's ur opinion? purchasing Mate 9 or mate 9 Pro or s7 edge ! I'm confusion :'(Easy... if you got the money, get the Mate 9 Pro,
if you still miss the Note 7, but want an alternative... go for the original Mate 9,
if you're a diehard Samsung fan/fanboy go for S7 Edge. Those 3 phones/phablets are beasts! :D
