That's probably the biggest bs I have seen in my life! There is just no effing way wireless can be better when software has to do the work! Software can always change its mind, whereas analogue will stay as it is no matter what happened. Plus, I don't need to worry about battery - I can use the wired for as long as I like whereas the battery in the wireless will eventually deplete. Don't get me started with range and latency lag.

No reviewer or audiophile would ever call the 3.5mm jack 'garbage'.

I was free without wire for convenience in 1997 with my infra red headphones, I've still got them & they still work.

The 3.5mm jack port is extremely versatile, not just for headphones, but also guarantees you a higher quality, zero latency connection to DAC, any stereo (incl. car stereo) / HiFi amplifier & speakers.

            I use BlueTooth & the 3.5mm jack.
When my Note9 finally becomes a backup smartphone, one of it's duties will be to serve me as a 1tb music player to my HiFi amp via 3.5mm to L&R RCA's & I can keep it charged at the same time, ready to go, instead of cycling down the battery all the time.

Also, compare the same price wired and wireless headphones and you have to agree that wireless is nowhere near to wired headphones. If i compare either wireless are bit more expensive unless you buy from wish site or alliexpress but still is a lot better and more future like tech. Wires and cables are slowly going away and i am only glad.

Also, to charge a wireless headphone regularly is an unnecessary pain. And only clumsy and lazy people thinks this way. People have no problems to charge their phones but they find garbage charging their earplugs when they can charge both at the same time or use a phone battery to wirelessly charge their earpieces. Only lazy people find this as a pain.

Man even the wired ones consume more phone battery. And with a tons of powerbanks or other charge stations everywhere your statement makes no sense.
Noone forcing you to buy wireless earpieces but they are far better than wired ones.
They always been. Stop making excuses.

AnonD-731363, 16 Nov 2019man tons of wireless audio everywhere no need to rely on ancient garbage technologies. 3.5mm headphone jack is not a garbage technology.... it is proven technology. Also, compare the same price wired and wireless headphones and you have to agree that wireless is nowhere near to wired headphones. Also, to charge a wireless headphone regularly is an unnecessary pain. May be in future it can compete with wired headphones but now it is just an one sided game. I don't and can't tolerate the fact that I need to pay a lot for a decent wireless headphone whic battery can be emtied in the middle of my trip and which also takes toll on my paired mobiles phone battery... so, loss situation at the moment forcefully created by greedy mobile company which sees this an innovation.
