Huawei Android Rumors

Huawei introduced the Mate X earlier this year and we even got a chance to play with it for a bit. The company’s currently targeting a launch in October, so the R&D department is already shifting its attention to its successor.

A Huawei patent, filed with USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) features like the Mate X was trademarked, but with a compartment for a flat stylus.

Huawei Mate X 2 might have a stylus, according to a patent

According to the rough design and the visualizations, made by LetsGoDigital, the new device will be refined, with a thinner camera/battery setup. Interestingly enough, it is designed to go into a hole that is currently hosting the USB-C port, meaning that it will have to be moved.

Huawei might be patenting the design to protect it from being copied by other companies that are willing to join the foldable world. However, having a stylus is not news for Huawei - it already offers the M-Pen for plenty of tablets and smartphones, including the Huawei Mate 20 X.

Think differently ;-) None of these displays stretch, they just bend, but the way they bend is different. Very different.

It's no secret why the galaxy can't use a screen protector, it folds inwards and doesn't have the space for it. A screen protector would potetianlly damage the display. And it wouldn't handle the rough bend very well. The design of the Huawei i...

How is that "simple"? What you're saying is that there isn't enough space vertically as the curve radius is slightly different between the protection film and the screen. This stands both ways, no matter the screen has the larger curve or the prote...
