Huawei Android Tablets

The Huawei MatePad T8 that was introduced back in May debuted today in India. It's offered in a single Deepsea Blue color and comes in Wi-Fi and LTE versions priced at INR9,999 ($135/€115) and INR10,999 ($150/€125), respectively.

The LTE model will be available for INR1,000 ($13/€11) less during the pre-order phase on Flipkart, which begins on September 8, 2020 and ends on September 14, 2020. Open sales will kick off from September 15.

Huawei MatePad T8 arrives in India

The Huawei MatePad T8 is powered by MediaTek's MT8768 SoC and packs an 8" LCD of 1280x800 pixel resolution. The tablet boots Android 10-based EMUI 10.1 and comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage onboard. It also has a microSD card slot, which allows storage expansion by up to 512GB.

The tablet features two cameras - a 2MP snapper on the front and a 5MP unit on the back. Keeping the entire package up and running is a 5,100 mAh battery, which draws power through a microUSB port at up to 5W.

why am I not surprised to see every new product launching to be powered by a Mediatek processor? whether it;s a budget smartphone,,, TV or now the latest Huawei MatePad T8 tablet

Looks good for the normal users and with a Mediatek processor, it can serve lots of purposes.

I bought one for kids, for attending online classes, the interface is very fluid unlike other budget tablets, however the disappointment is the missing USB-C. I was able to install Zoom and Whats-app with no issues but for people that need Google e...
