This device does not support VoLTE. T-Mobile announced a few weeks ago that devices not supporting VoLTE will not work on their network starting January 2021. T-Mobile is phasing out 2G and 3G starting then (there could be delays, of course). I have used this tablet also as a phone so this is a huge disappointment for me. I would think it would still work for data but not phone calls but who knows for sure. It is still a great tablet when used over Wi-Fi or hotspot or just gaming but a big disappointment with no VoLTE.

Still by far the best android tablet within the smaller sized (below 10 inch) segment. Had it for three months now and it's my main devise. No matter what you throw at it, runs everything smoothly and does hardly get warm. High quality build.
Also liking the custom Android version better then the Google one. If you want the best smaller size tablet, see if you can get one directly from China. You won't regret it.

I just got it import from HKG to Australia. It has the google play store installed already . Netflix & Disney+ not yet certify and only working on web browser.

I got it last week. But I dont know, how to use google suppot like google play store, apps like microsoft outlook, Microsoft teams, Real Racing 3, etc. Without those apps, what do I do with such a highly cobfigured design. Without those, I guess, Xiaomi Tab 4 was better, if that doesn't have any issue with google services. In fact, huawei devices will be having such trouble as long as they have trouble with google.

Love this tablet. Been waiting for a 'small' tablet with top specs. Had to import it from China, but even with customs, it's well worth it. Blows the competition out of the water.

Awesome tablet! Bought it from CECT-SHOP and just received it yesterday. My previous device was the MediaPad M3, and I'm glad I finally upgraded after 3+ years.

Abhirathod, 19 Jan 2020Is this tablet supports volte 4gUnfortunately, it seems so far from my observations that there is no VoLTE. When on a voice call, data is at 3G. Meaning, if you try to look up information on a web page or whatever, things are slow. You can still look up information in a reasonable amount of time its just not 4GLTE quick. If you like to talk on the phone and surf the web over cellular 4GLTE, this isn't going to happen. However, if you are on a phone call and connected to WiFi, data is quick through the WiFi.

It is really a great tablet of materials and specifications
And the sound quality is fantastic
It is also great for games with the highest graphics
It contains Google Play

Internet speed is fast and the quickness of the tablet makes it all unbelievable. I've placed and received several phone calls and sent and received over 100 text messages. No problems. I waited over a year and a half for a decent 8 inch Android tablet to hit the market. It never happened. At least I couldn't find one. So I had to buy Huawei M6 Chinese version. This is not a tablet for someone who wants a tablet that works perfectly and simply out of the box. It's a tablet for someone who wants the BEST 8 inch tablet and is willing to put in 30 - 60 minutes putting in personalizations. There is a 12 month warranty from the very well known and legit German online website I purchased it from.

They want a PERFECT functional phone or tablet when they leave the store. Moreover, you do not have any official retailer for Mate 30 or future P40 or this MediaPad. Buying it from China on Ebay without warranty is so stupid. Beside the chinese LTE won't work correctly on european or american carriers

Fintoyu, 04 Sep 2019Normal it's cheap. Without Google services, youtube, facebook, instagram. Usless brickIt has Google Services, Google Play Store. No tricks or complicated side hacks to get it to work. Installs (and works with) Google Maps, Earth, Gmail, Assistant, Chrome, Drive, Files, Fit, Gboard, Google Pay, Google News, Google Photos, etc. Here in the USA. "Ok Google" works in Maps but having trouble getting it to work outside of Maps... Seems Huawei wants you to use Hivoice instead. Only app I haven't been able to install is Gasbuddy, it says not compatible with device. Not sure why on that.
