I did the same. Was going to use it for a display in one of my cars. I agree. I don't remember it being this slow. Factory reset didn't help.

I took mine out of the drawer today hoping to use it for home assistant but it was so slow and laggy I decided to factory reset it but it's still slow and basically unusable. Weird for a quad core tablet from that period... I don't remember...

Im still glad that i have this device and i have its original charger too, but its abandoned for now, might gonna restore it soon. I feel bad for you still for missing this device.
