i want to ask you , which kitkat update is better for it, chinese or european. i have done chinese and i cant open Google Appstore in it, it give server problem for my gmail id.
if european update is better, how to download that, give the link.

After updating to Kitkat my X1 last for more than 2 days on 4G, 3G and 2 G alternately whichever is available.
Also charging time got shorter.

Tcool, 24 Sep 2014I just figured it out, Dragon VLC pro is not compatible to Mediapad X1 Kitkat.
But it is comp... morecan any body tell me how to update the Huawei Media pad x1 7D-501L to kitkat 4.4. i am from pakistan, so language must be english.

oh..this device was awsome. i was using tab all times. but had try tab 3 n 4. d pixel n camara dont match my request. this device is 7inches n just suit for hand holding phone.n i had successfully upgraded to 4.4kitkat n everything was working smoothly after upgrade. tks n welldone to huawei

Now I really like my Huawei Mediapad X1 with Kitkat on board.
It is a lot better than iPad mini.

Tcool, 24 Sep 2014I just figured it out, Dragon VLC pro is not compatible to Mediapad X1 Kitkat. But it is comp... moreI use dragon vlc on it with kitkat. I installed bsplayer and use that to watch the live feeds. So just click on link in dragon vlc and choose to open with bsplayer and it works fine.

AnonD-239830, 22 Sep 2014I don't know but I'm sure downgrading can be done. Maybe this problem is due to the larger DPI... moreI just figured it out, Dragon VLC pro is not compatible to Mediapad X1 Kitkat.
But it is compatible to Mediapad X1 JB.
Anyhow, I just keep it as Kitkat.
I still have a 7.85" JB tablet that is compatible with Dragon VLC Pro. And all my Kitkat mobile phones are compatible also.

It gives lots of worldwide live TV channels, if you can give one app just like it that will work on Kitkat.
Otherwise I need to downgrade to JB.
