Marco, 03 Jan 2018 I got my Nexus 18 months ago, the battery is still working perfectly, the only problem that ... moreHi! How is it now? Did you buy it used, refurbished, or new?
Had bought phone from US to use here in Asia. Phone shuts down at 98% battery remaining. Local Huawei won't service saying the model was not launched here. Tried to purchase battery from Huawei India when travelling there, Huawei India says they only sell to device purchased in India. Had ordered OEM battery from China via eBay. But before the battery could arrive, Bootloop error has started!
The phone has two major universal flaws: Battery and Bootloop. Got both at the same time!
How good a phone is known after a year of use. This device falls under the pathetic bracket, same for Huawei & Google. $600 down the drain!
Ejaz, 13 Jan 2018I am using Nexus 6P from last 15 months, it is a very stable device but now i am experiencing ... moreMost likely the reason for what you are experiencing is that google released a fix to a couple virus that some bastard planted on the net to screw things up
In the process it tends to slowdown some equipment i.e. , phones , tablets laptops desktops may be affected
I am using Nexus 6P from last 15 months, it is a very stable device but now i am experiencing lag in performance specially after Jan 2018 security update. Many times during call screen goes black and nothing is happening even power and volume buttons not working at that time.
im fed up to use my nexus 6p
always error
over heating error
gsm error
sim card error
I got my Nexus 18 months ago, the battery is still working perfectly, the only problem that presents me, is when making calls, the people who respond to me hear their return voice, out of that, the performance has always been the best.

I am facing the similar issue, however the performance has stabilized with last update. I am not sure if replacing the battery will help. Lets just hope the issue gets solved with a later update soon.
Had a Nexus 5 that had boot
AnonD-727529, 31 Dec 2017I'm having the battery drain problem after 14 months of owning this phone and of course it's ... moreI replaced the battery about a month ago, on Android 8.0.0 I'm getting about 3 hours of screen on time, using mostly Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat moderately throughout the day.
I'm having the battery drain problem after 14 months of owning this phone and of course it's out of warranty. Does replacing the battery actually work when it comes to replacing the battery? Anyone still experiencing this problem after replacing battery? Other than sending back to Huawaei where have others had their batteries replaced? Any local places for those who respond? I keep reading to downgrade to Nougat (think that's right)? how and where do I find instructions on how to do that and does it really resolve the problem?
Paid 2500pesos ($50) for a new battery....bought the phone last Feb2016 using it as a backup phone now
When battery indicated 40% the smartphone turn off
Do not update Nexus 6P to Oreo, you run the risk of it becoming unusable for a eternal bootloop.

This phone is great. It's just a shame that it has battery issues. I don't over charge it battery is at 50 percent and phone turns off. Tried calling Huawei no help they trying to charge me over $150 to send it and they saying they will replace battery and send it back. Customer service is awful. The phone can be great just unreliable battery and company.
Best phone so far. People with battery problems probably charges overnight or don't remove the charger when it reached 100% after abot an hour or so.
Nexus 6P Super
literally the worst phone i have ever owned. smartphones i had before it were symbian phones, then a htc desire, wildfire and one m8 and one x. this Huawei is the worst phone i have ever owned. got it in december 2015 and from very early it had battery issues, now the battery doesnt last longer than 20 minutes and shuts down at 60%. Apps crash a lot, apps often seem sluggish, i have always found the camera to be horrendous with patchy images especially at night time, they pics are horrid. i have reset the phone numerous times and tried all the fixes with no joy. the phone recently updated to android 8.1.0 and its now become slower with micro pauses and it wont now connect to 3G or 4G even after another factory and cache reset and just installing basic apps like whatsapp. i have become so annoyed with it i have thrown it as the wall a few times. ill just buy a cheaper phone next when my contract runs out end of december 2017, a phone with removable battery. all these non removable battery phones are crap anyway by end of year one.! Never touching Huawei again!!! naff!
Keeping updated but also factory data reset wipes memory of unnecessary bits the device needs to try and hang onto. I also carry a 10,000 MW type C port rechargeable back up battery and type C cable so I can charge the phone quick when I'm not using it right then. Great idea about keeping a standard type USB cable I also do that when it's on my desk. Android software Nougat, has suggested the on device photo cache could be trimmed from time to time to help with battery life and I have done this too.
